The OT had good alien variance but you never saw them in combat. How is an Elcor or Hanar supposed to hold a gun?

Since launch, our team has been poring over your comments and feedback, looking to discover what you like about the game, as well as areas we can evolve or improve.
This Thursday, we’ll release a new patch that addresses technical fixes (crashes, improved performance), but also adds a number of improvements we’ve heard you ask for, such as:
There are many more adjustments being made, all of which you can find in our patch notes.
- Allowing you to skip ahead when travelling between planets in the galaxy map
- Increasing the inventory limits
- Improving the appearance of eyes for humans and asari characters
- Decreasing the cost of remnant decryption keys and making them more accessible at merchants
- Improving localized voice over lip sync
- Fixing Ryder’s movements when running in a zig zag pattern
- Improving matchmaking and latency in multiplayer
Over the next two months we’ll be rolling out additional patches which will go even deeper and look to improve several areas of the game:
These upcoming patches will also address performance and stability issues. And we’re looking at adding more cosmetic items to single player for free.
- More options and variety in the character creator
- Improvements to hair and general appearance for characters
- Ongoing improvements to cinematic scenes and animations
- Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder
- Adjustments to conversations with Hainly Abrams
For multiplayer, over the same timeframe, we’re going to continue to build on the APEX missions that have been running since launch. We’ll be adding new maps, characters, and weapons. On Thursday, we kick off the first of three new chapters centered around The Remnant Investigation.
This is just a taste of what’s in store as we continue to support Mass Effect: Andromeda. And as always, you all play an important role in that. We want to hear from you about your experiences, both what you love about the game and what you’d like to see changed. We’re listening, and we’re committed to partnering with you as we continue to explore the Andromeda galaxy together.

Good job Bioware, so in 2 months we will have the game we should have had at launch.
I could put down ME:A and go through Witcher for 2 months while they patch it. No mention of DLC yet, strange.
Work has kept me from gaming for the past couple of weeks, and for some time ahead. Looks like I'll come back to a better game when my time finally frees up.Pretty much confirms what I (and others) suspected: This game wasn't ready to be launched yet and if they had delayed even another "fiscal quarter" I think it would have put it over the top.
Good. They shouldn't bother until the main game is fixed.
Looks good I'll hold off on NG+ until they patch it up.
Is there really a New Game +? I didn't know that.
Added option to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map
I for one am enraged at the lack of volus representation on the initial nexus. What are they trying to say? That Voli are useless creatures? Unworthy of space or the energy used to freeze and thaw them?

I know you're being silly, but the Volus along with the Elcor and others are on the missing ark. Hopefully we will see some SP DLC that plays that out.
I haven't gotten that far in the single player, yet, but what I gathered is that the Quarian ark would be delayed by years or decades to finish the logistics of caring for so many disparate species with varying needs. So it's not missing, it just won't show up in the Heleus Cluster for awhile.I know you're being silly, but the Volus along with the Elcor and others are on the missing ark. You mean DLC because they are not in the base game.I expect to see the quarians before the game is over.
for the people that finished the game, how long did it take you?...I'm a completionist and love exploring, doing all the side missions etc
If you exhaust every dialog option with every NPC, complete every quest and Point of Interest on every planet, probably 80-100 hours.for the people that finished the game, how long did it take you?...I'm a completionist and love exploring, doing all the side missions etc

Yeah I vaguely remember hearing that in a convo but thought I heard wrong since it seems impossible. So upon arrival in Androameda, it's stated that beacons were placed to reestablish contact with the Milky Way galaxy, but no response has come back. Found something sad about that.
Yeah I vaguely remember hearing that in a convo but thought I heard wrong since it seems impossible.
Everytime someone mentions 600 years I wonder to myself how things are going in the Milky Way. It's an insane amount of time:
People back in the Milky Way can actually see how well the AI is doing by using their FTL Telescope. There is a small delay on it (unspecified) so who knows how delayed it actually is. For all we know, the Milky Way can actually see the Scourge.
Then I start wondering how many people in the Milky Way put themselves into Cryo for fun, ya know? "I don't like today, wake me up in 600 years."
Also while we're on the subject, I think it's weird everyone in Andromeda wants to wake up, too. If it were me, I'd ask to be left in Cryo until everything is up and running smoothly... Wake me up for that! But I guess they all joined the AI to be pioneers. Most of them probably want to get woken up ASAP.
You can open it. Just run around it spamming E. The button prompt is invisible for some reason. Here's one: one of the packages that a cryo team reveals that cannot be selected:
