Hell yeah at Bioshock Infinite (dear to my heart, my internship was at Irrational in Quincy not too long ago). :)

Also RE6, but it's sounding more and more like poo juice. But we'll see.

Lookin' sexy for PC gaming this spring. I'm looking forward to Aliens: Colonial Marines as well and that's only a couple weeks out. :)

people were saying its a good game it just gets bad ratings cause the name leaves people with certain expectations of how the game should play. which makes sense.. but from what i read its actually decent

colonial marines looks good.. waiting to see how people feel about it.. but i agree. spring is lookin dope :)

SimCity, Heart of Swarm. Rest are of no interest to me, and new Metal Gear Solid along with Crysis 3 are February releases :)

not gonna lie i might go buy a ps3 just for MGS... saw a video of him slicing peoples limbs up and shit haha

I tried the demo for the new Metal Gear Solid game and TBH the analog swordplay seemed incredibly cumbersome. Cool idea, not so cool implementation IMO.

Sim City -- No because of the DRM.
Tomb Raider -- Maybe, franchise has been a bit hit or miss for me.
SC2 - Heart of the Swarm -- Depends on the price. I don't care for MP, but the SP in SC2 was real good. If it isn't too much, I could go for more of that.
Bioshock Infinite -- Nope.
Resident Evil 6 -- Nope.
Metro Last Light-- Very much. While Metro was a rail shooter, it was a very good one.

Metro Last Light releasing in March? I could be wrong but with the whole THQ going under thing, I thought it was delayed.

Anyways I'm looking forward to Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite, MGR: R and Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut.

Sim City -- No because of the DRM.

Yeah, Origin is definitely a real drawback, but the problem with the game is that you can build your entire city (no more open area) in about an hour. It's been confirmed by multiple beta participants and on the Giant Bombcast and Gamers with Jobs.

Some people may like a more bite-sized approach to Simcity, but that seems antithetical to what Simcity should be for me.

Other than that, it's basically a lot of shooters coming up. I hope they're good, but I am already saturated with old shooters I've bought on sale. I am very interested in Colonial Marines though especially if it is more an action game than a horror game like people are saying.

Colonial Marines does not look good by any stretch, and every preview, including more from the past two weeks, are turning a lot of people away. No true tension or fear, clunky gameplay and the visuals only look good regarding the Aliens themselves. The "action" aspect is not there either. Aliens running straight at you, you shoot them, they die, you continue down the corridor. Even when they're hopping around the room, there's no tension and it looks far too easy.

I've watched a lot of video on it and it couldn't possibly look more boring, unfortunately. Even the MP looks weak. Check the previews and the vids all over YT. I'd suggest steering clear, ironically, especially if you're an Alien fan. I couldn't be more disappointed in what I've seen, being the biggest Alien fan since I was a kid, and I'm now 38. Ugh.

As for other titles:

Grim Dawn (I'll be in the beta)
Crysis 3 (though that's this month; just good fast-paced shooting, now that I've got it actually running well)
Dead Island: Riptide
FireFall ("soft" release)
Sim City (a toss-up; not happy about the always-on, but the biggest problem is the cloud saving and feeling of getting half a game for $60, yet I'm drawn to the series/game; tough call)
Resident Evil 6 (from what I've seen, it's a "maybe", depending on if it's really gone more back to it's roots)
Bioshock Infinite (has me intrigued, but not sure yet)

Hoping to also get into the ES:O beta and even the Marvel Heroes beta.

Feels like I'm missing something here, though...

Metro Last Light releasing in March? I could be wrong but with the whole THQ going under thing, I thought it was delayed.

Neither Koch Media/Deep Silver (the new owners of the publishing rights) or 4A have said anything one way or the other. I assume by now the game would be complete and just in the bug fixed stage but who knows what will happen. I wouldn't hold my breath on it being released in March though. Deep Silver will probably have to renegotiate all of THQ's publishing contracts, not to mention I'm sure the contract will have to be reworked between them and 4A.

To the others on the list:

SimCity- No. The always on DRM doesn't bug me that much (I use Steam all the time) but EA's servers are well known to be shit and it's likely going to be very unstable. On top of that it seems like they're stripping away a lot of the things I liked about the series and the towns just seem small and limited. I'm keeping an eye on it, but no way in hell is it a day 1 purchase.

Tomb Raider- It looks interesting. I really like Uncharted and this looks to be taking a lot of what worked in Uncharted and adapting it. Rihanna Pratchett should be able to craft a good story if she is even half the writer her father is. I'm debating on pre-ordering this one, I probably will break down and pick it up early on.

SC2 Expansion- Eh. Eventually, maybe. I'm in no hurry to get it. I really like Starcraft but I dunno 2 didn't really excite me all that much. I'm interested in seeing where they go with the story but I can wait on it.

Bioshock Infinite- I should be a lot more hyped for this game than I am. I'm pretty sure I'll get it day 1 or buy it prior but my hype for the game has cooled considerably with all the delays.

RE6- I'll pick it up. A few of my friends will buy it for co-op and I did enjoy RE5's co-op so this one will probably be fun too.

None of those titles interest me. :(

Maybe Bioshock down the line, but it's not a release day game for me.

its 39.99 :)

I only recently found out Bioshock was made by Irrational Games, who produced one of the best PC games ever, SWAT 4. I'm excited. Last Light sounds interesting, but probably not a day 1 purchase.

Pretty stoked for Heart of the Swarm. Gotta brush up my Protoss play, I've heard really good things about the multiplayer.

SC2 - Heart of the Swarm doesn't have a solid release date I thought...

I'm pumped for Bioshock Infinite (I love the previous two games) and for Metro Last Light. That first game was great. Tomb Raider sounds like it'll be a voice actor having a constant orgasm and I can watch free porn if that is what I wanted.

Sim City - Waaay too expensive to just buy. Will wait to sift through the negative feedback (it's an EA game. They could release a cancer cure and everyone would bitch and moan the tablets were too chalky. The massively and weirdly over negetive attitude makes it difficult to tell if games are actually good or bad by them. :D) and work out if it is bad or not.
Tomb Raider - She seems a bit...drippy now. She has never really much of a deep character...but then again Tomb Raider games have never been about the story (i've finished a few and have little clue what the plot was about). But there does seem to be something very Hillary Swank about it.
SC2 - Depends if anyone I used to play with is even interested. They've all moved on to other things. Seems a bit expensive for what it is, and Blizzard games suck at discounts (apart from Diablo 3, but that was because it was disliked). :D
Bioshock Infinite - I liked BS1 and 2, even though people bitchmoaned at it about nonsense.
RE6 - Have played the demo (on the PS3) and it was ok (if you liked 5 it's pretty much that, just in the original setting). Seems like a co-op kind of game (as co-op always helps to cover up flaws. Dead Island is a pretty boring, buggy, crap game thats somehow magically fun and enjoyable when played Co-op :D).
Metro Last light - Because I know it will be on sale at some point in the future, I'll get this at some point, but am not in a giant hurry. :D

South Park:The Stick of Truth (can't believe no one mentioned this)

No one mentioned it because it was pushed back

I'm really hoping Metro Last Night is still a getting a spring release, that's what I've been looking forward to the most this year. Also RE6 what really hurts the game is the awful QTE's and I like QTE's in games when they are done well. There is QTE that has you climbing up a rope that will make want to smash your controller, or keyboard. So yeah just warning if your not a fan of QTE's your in for a real treat :D

That rope is Nightmare Fuel for the ages. DON'T play this part with a friend.

i wish march was "killin'" it for me but the only one of those titles i'm remotely interested in is bioshock.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is the only title I'm looking forward too. I can wait with the other ones.

I have not heard much good about Aliens: CM. Actually, I'll take it further by saying I've heard a lot of negativity about it. Even from people in the press who should be excited about it are very wary and don't have high hopes.

If EA hadn't of raped and gutted Sim City -- I'd buy a copy.

It might look good - but its 2013 - why should we be downgrading or more limited in size vs what we could build in the past? Oh that's right because EA wants to sell a "super awesome sexytime DLC pack" that will give us what we should have gotten out of the box. 60 bucks + another what? 20? 30?

Screw that - either lower the price or give us Sim City at the scale we are used to.

Infinite is already that close to release? Whoa, that snuck up on me

Resident Evil 6 (from what I've seen, it's a "maybe", depending on if it's really gone more back to it's roots)

Oh boy, it's the complete opposite of that. Don't make that your reason to get it. Disappointment will be an understatement.

You're absolutely right, my mistake. I'm actually thinking of the other RE title that's been "revamped" that's coming up, and now I cant remember which one, though it's coming to PC. What the hell am I thinking... it's supposed to be far more a "return to roots"... was a game on another platform.

I cant remember. Not huge hype around it, but caught my eye the other week when mentioned.

I hope Metro Last Light is still on for its release schedule, with the change in publisher. Bioshock and the Tomb Raider looks good too, but nothing I am eagerly anticipating.

You are probably thinking of Resident Evil: Revelations, which was originally released on the 3DS: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/22/resident-evil-revelations-hits-xbox-360-ps3-pc-wii-u-on-may.

Indeed. Very ho-hum. I've pretty much written it off to sale bin fodder unless I see it hit and people are raving all over the place about it. And not false positive ravings like I saw with Far Cry 3 around here and then suddenly a few days or so after that game hit some of those people stopped posting and it got real quiet.

You must be thinking of this thread:

It fell off the first page. Yeah, thats the one you want. :)
