Do the math.. 700x8weeks = new computer plus some change
Agreed. A 3000+ Newark would definately be fun...but don't forget about the Turions.Ruiner said:My price tolerance puts the dtr 3000+ claw as the only upgrade for me then. I'd probably get a bit lower core clock than my Sempy but get 4x the L2....for $40 or so extra if I sold this chip. Too bad newegg is out of stock.
A cheap newark would be nicer though.
sempron 2800+!Ruiner said:A cheap newark would be nicer though.
Ya really, not a bad price.sabrewolf732 said:weee $215! I see a 3700 in my future![]()

The default HTT speed for my (and I think all) 754 board is 800. Should my target range (when adjusting the HTT multi) be 800 or 1000?
Incorrect.serbiaNem said:
tsuehpsyde said:Incorrect.800MHz is stock, but NForce3 can hold 1000MHz LDT fine, just don't go much higher.
Nazo said:I just happened upon this and thought I should post it here. Many of you may already know of this, or maybe some other manufacturer has even already come out with it, but, when I was visiting the website to look up something about my board, I saw this in the news: http://www.epox.com.tw/eng/news_content.php?serno=50 Apparently EPoX is making a 754 board with SLi. Don't know if any of you even need SLi, but, well, have fun those who do.

Ruiner said:So I assume 1000 is ok for my 754/nf4 board?

@ Ewiz.com Unless people say that this is not a good e-tailer. I've been looking at an upgrade (so to speak), actually, another proccie for my shuttle and my budget is ~ $150.
If this is a double-post, please ignore me.
CCUABIDExORxDIE said:wow! thats cheap! and EWIZ is solid! i bought my DFI ultra-D from them and my fortron BlueStorm psu from them. id say go and get that chip.
sabrewolf732 said:oh my Im getting one next week. Don't post this link anywhere else! Don't want them to run out![]()
Bullitt said:also, its too late, someone posted in Hot deals. But its s754 and the attitude is "If its not s939 x2 it Sucks!" applies there![]()

aldamon said:Awesome! That's $22 cheaper than the price I got on Ebay two weeks ago. My 3700+ is purring along in OCCT at 2.76 GHz so far with 1.825V on water. If OCCT is still running when I get home from work I think I'm going to make a run at 2.8. My CPU seems to get along with the NF4X I installed last night.

Dew said:754 is a fine platform for the price.
My little brother is going ultra budget on a new rig so I had him get a 2800+ Sempron64 and a NF4X Infinity. I know he'll be able to do 2.4GHz at a minimum, hoping for 2.6!
robberbaron said:I took a 3100+ to 2.7 on that board, he should be good to go.
Dew said:I'm more worried about the board making it to 337 than the cpu making it to 2.7
