I am not buying it unless I see a review that shows it works.
It looks like it's running on the main site, too. I'm not observant enough, though, to know when it actually started.Eagle156 said:As a side note, wwwwwwwhy did [H]ard forum implement intelitext?![]()

UltimatePing - Nearly all of the latency comes from traveling across the country, not going from your NIC to your modem. Worthless.
MaxFPS - Cool, it's a PCI NIC. Worthless.
FNA - More marketing bullshit. Worthless.
GameFirst - This can be done on routers and if there's multiple computers on the network this GameFirst thing won't matter if someone else is downloading a ton of stuff, it will have to be prioritized by the router. Mostly worthless.
Ping Throttle - Uhh... just plain stupid.
In conclusion, this product is an overhyped, worthless pile of steaming dog shit.

Anyone remember when Creative was touting the X-Fi to improve framerates by 38%? This product seems to be following Creative's marketing "genius". I'd love to see some benchies with this mighty killer NIC installed and see the "massive" performance gains. My guess? : absolutely ZERO (versus a regular PCI NIC) lol
PWMK2 said:Or how about zero versus an integrated networking solution as well...

Helps keep the price up?WhyYouLoveMe said:I'm also wondering what kind of data that RAM will be handling.

WhyYouLoveMe said:So obvious and I didn't even think of that!![]()
Kevlarman said:Maybe it's real RAM, soldered onto the NIC, but it's not actually connected to anything?![]()
