I touched on this back in a feedback session with T10 in the 2H of 2019. Explained how the game needs to represent proper torque converter implementation and went on in detail about how they can fit it into their model seemlessly.An example of my issue is the C7 Z06. Both automatic and manual use the 8L90 in the game and shift the same way, except one goes through the gears automatically and the other manually. When selecting the manual we should get the TR6070 with its shifting characteristics while selecting auto or semi-auto gives us the 8L90. Similarly, the ZL1 should be the TR6060 with a manual and 10L90 with auto or semi-auto.
As far as physics we gave some older examples earlier in the thread. Out of the games I've played Project CARS and Project CARS 2 give a much more realistic feeling in transmission physics than Forza ever has.
