Forza 3... Who's Getting It?

Only thing worse than having 10 skylines would be having 10 Porsche GT3 Cups/RSRs...which it does.

Kinda stinks, they give us the ability to paint race cars and then add a TON of them in.

I think your info might be a little out of date... there's something like 48 skylines in GT PSP. No doubt even more to come in GT5.
 
hehe 48? lol that's more than I've seen in my life time. I guess ratio fits well to both games... 48:800 cars to 10:400 cars

meh, I don't care either way, was just having some fun...
I finally had a chance to check out the demo and I wish the actual game would look like those nice screenshots released by T10, especially cars.

Agreed, the guy doesn't even try to appear intelligent in how he trolls, atleast put some effort in guy!


But I personally can't wait for the game. The quality of the demo + depth of Forza2 or more, it's gonna be a hell of a good time.
 
I'm playing the full game at the mo... it's fantastic (those that don't believe me, check my recently played games list).

I understand that a lot of people have more fun being system warriors than playing games though. :)

Yeah, early copy. I can post my impressions but nothing else until embargo date (couple of days).
 
No... but how could I define that? There's a couple of tracks in there I like better than the demo track, as well as a version of the demo location which I like more too.

If you mean graphically, I can't say I noticed much different. The cars in the lower tiers (where I am now) look great on the track though... looking at them from cockpit mode anyway, I haven't tried the other views.

On a less specific note. I really like the setup of the new career, especially getting the world championship events every couple of weeks to mix things up. There was something overwhelming about seeing all the events you'd be getting in Forza 2 when you're down in the early levels (though you can still choose to look at the full list if you like).
 
Kind of a more specific car question to throw out there. I am a subaru fan and I see the list shows 2004 sti and a 2005. These are the same car. Is the 2004 a possible typo and maybe its a 2001-2003 body style?(bugeye ingame I hope). I know thats not an official list on the previous page so Im hoping its not 2004.

If by sim you mean "we've replaced the roads with teflon and the rear wheels with ice" then yes... I agree. With mods I can see it being a different story though.

As far as I'm aware, they're different... I can check though. I recall someone mentioning that they were based on the model years of a particular country, can't remember which.

You quoted the car list, so you should know which ones they have:

I do, though sadly I've been far too busy with work to put any major amounts of time into it. There's certainly a lot more variation with the tracks this time. I particularly like the Iberian International circuit.
 
Thanks for that though that means they have two of the top pic. I'll have to wait and see how F3 made them different in game. (day off for me!!!) 04-05 model is top pic, 06-07 is the bottom pic. At least they do have the 08, which is what I drive now. Always enjoy driving my own car in game but before 08, I had 02 and still have love for it. Just hoping that maybe they put in the bugeye model. \/ oh well

No... I loaded the game and picked photos which matched the two older WRX models that I saw.

That ugly f*ck*r above isn't in it though. :p

:D I wont lie, it could be looked at as ugly...but that was subaru...different, rally, raw.
its so ugly its beautiful ;) And agreed 4saken, it is one of the best looking wrx (S202 anyone), 2nd best though. 1st best will always be the 22B to me. lucky euros and japan. Always get the better cars, special ed. cars

But, i am sad that it isn't in game yet. DLC please....

yeah if we had the 22b here id agree completely.

I bought the 02 wrx when they first released in the US in 01, so i have a soft place in my heart for it.
 
My wife drives an '02 Bugeye WRX, we love the car. Hoping to do a few track days in it.

/\ agreed that they had more personality. when you saw them, there was no question it was a subaru. The 08's though, can look good if done right. At least they helped subaru be one of the only makers the had a plus in sales when everyone else was neg.

Im now building a racing seat setup. xbox wheel that gf bought me for F2 and a old legacy seat my friend gave me out of his 01. actually he gave me both front seats for my project, though only need 1

No it's not. You'll notice he's quoting me on that list (actually, he's quoting a now old list). Updates include the 2 new tracks and the free DLC cars for new game purchasers (which were already listed but now are listed as free DLC).

I downgraded from the LCE to the normal version about 2 hours ago. I really want the VIP Pack/cars but $22 (after tax) for 5 cars + a ton of crap I don't want isn't worth it. Hopefully they'll release it on XBL eventually but if not that's OK. For that same $20 I can get 40 DLC cars.
 
I'm happy enough paying the extra for the gift cars in the future. Should be some cool stuff if Forza 2 was anything to go by.
