Dragon Age + Eyefinity = fail

Thanks to the OP for sharing this information. I hope I'll have an eyefinity setup of my own one day and I find it useful when people share feedback on how it is working for them and any problems they're encountering. It's nice to see that this issue has been patched so quickly.

Aside from that, the behaviour of some people in this thread has been shoddy and pathetic. The thread was intended to discuss a particular issue in a particular game, probably in the hope of finding and sharing solutions to the problem, and all the "waaah I hate bezels" posts were completely unnecessary. If you aren't interested in Eyefinity, fine, go away and stop wasting the time of those who are interested and who want to make it work better. Do you honestly think that, because there's an aspect of Eyefinity that YOU dislike, that nobody with any sense could possibly find Eyefinity appealing? Because that seemed to me to be the general tone of a number of posts and it's pretty damn patronizing.

This is just the nature of the beast I'm afraid.

Games for the longest time have not supported even standard widescreen crorrectly which is why places like www.widescreengamingforum.com and www.pcgamingstandards.com exist to try and document and encourage support for widescreen.

A lot of standard 16:10 widescreen implimentations are done badly (vert- instead of horz+) and while the effect is fairly minimal on normal widescreen, actually it's pretty awful....this effect is amplified on other wider setups.

I love the idea of eyefinity and I'd really love a setup like that but don't be fooled, it's not going to work correctly with a fair number of games.

It works now. They fixed it.

This is great news, thanks to the OP for sharing. Since I'm looking to play Mass Effect 2 across all three of my 30's come January, it is good to know they are on top of things.

Screenshots?

Sorry, been busy this weekend...

One in third person over the shoulder...

and one in tactical view.

Sorry, you have to actually click them, didn't know a free service that would allow hotlinking of 5760x1080 images. :(

Not to mention few of us actually have trimonitors!

So how does it treat the cutscense now that they are fixed? Does it center them on the middle screen, or do that stretch across all three? Would you mind posting a shot of that? Since ME2 will likely be setup the same way I'm curious what I'll be dealing with. Thanks up front.

Yeah, just displays it on the center screen.

I've got a 37" HD now, debating just getting 3 smaller cheaper monitors.
Anyone run it on 3 smaller monitors? Everyone seems to have 30" or close.

Smaller as in 19 inch? I'm using 3 dell 23 inch monitors. They were "only" around $480 total with special + coupon + free shipping + bing and they have built in displayport.

Why does that first one of you on the bridge look so fuzzy/blurry to me? I couldn't look at that all day if thats how it actually looks.
