I will be downloading the beta tomorrow, due to a new baby girl I might only be able to play for an hour or two this week though.
 
Pretty excited to get back to this game tomorrow with the BETA. Add me on PSN if you would like to possibly play together at some point. My PSN username is eXMomoj.
 
I think I'll try it if I can figure out the Beta and if it's early tomorrow.
I ordered Destiny though Amazon but canceled the order but still got a Beta key =)
Canceled the Amazon order cause shipping wasn't fast enough.
 
PSN is Armenius. I'll be adding random requests for today only :D!

Each key comes with 3 download codes, so be generous everyone-who-got-a-beta-key ;). I won't get mine until after work around 18:30'ish EDT.

I have no idea what I'm looking for someone said you will get a email could be 5 hours from now from what all I know.
 
bungie website is down, PSN is down for "maintenance". nothing is working.
 
Well, the beta was supposed to start at 12pm central time. I would assume the beta keys will be sent now, or whenever the site is functioning again.

They aren't emailing codes, you need to dig them out of your Bungie profile.
 
Yes I think so, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sent an email to inform you as well.
 
PSN appears to be imploding right now, wanted to start the download from work so I could play it when I got home :(

No real surprise. Lots of games have come out and the servers have imploded on those games too. I still remember the disasterous Battlefield launch, that was near legendary :p
 
Just finished redeeming my codes on PSN and just about finished downloading the BETA. Can't wait to start!

What class is everyone starting with? I enjoyed hunter the most from the Alpha, but I'm tempted to start a warlock since their later level abilities seem more interesting.

A few error messages on the way, but it downloaded. At this point (with PSN so overloaded) you just have to make sure to not try to go through the store on the console, use http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/home/ to redeem instead. Then go to Library (last 'app') on the PS4 to start the download. Going into Library I was getting error messages, but I could see the destiny icon so just spammed X in succession a few times until I got past the list.

Then the beta wouldn't launch with a 'error checking license'. At this point I logged out and in again (may or may not do anything useful) and the message was to wait while license is being validated. A minute later it launched and is now downloading at a decent speed.

If you're posting your extra download codes, please also specify which region they are for. A code for the Americas will not work in Europe, for example.

Played for a solid five hours and hit the level 8 beta cap, hoping that this cap is only temporary as it is the same as the alpha's.

It's rumored that the level 8 cap is only temporary and that it will be raised after the maintenance. I have a few good pieces of level 9 gear so I'm hoping it does get raised. If you want to play and I'm ever on just shoot me a message...PSN: eXMomoj. Anyone else feel free to add me as well, the more the merrier!

I never got any codes via eMAIL I HAD TO GO TO BUNGIE>NET AND FIND THEM ON MY PROFILE Page under codes, I have to spares for northamerican ps3 to give away since that's their intended purpose.
 
So, I was playing (I haven't played my ps4 since like December lol) and I got a prompt that my ps4 battery was low and then got a disconnection message.

So I plugged my controller in with the micro usb cord and figured that'd be good and I could keep playing....but nope.

My controller has a yellow pulsating light (the yellow light comes on, gets dim, repeats this). I assume that means it's charging.

So you can't play witht he controller while it's charging???
