Honestly who cares what issues if any they have. In the gaming industry those are normal conditions even in the west. Let alone a practically 3rd world country with shitty labor laws like in Poland. If you don't like it then you can always quit.

What should I have commented on before? A trailer and PR sales pitches? The thread hasn't even made it to page 30 in seven years, that could've been your first clue. He's just trolling. The first time he has posted on this thread was when the news of the delay was broken.
Oh, I would love to see a single quote to back this up.He's a Roberts apologist and is angry because CP2077 is going to come to market before his crowd funded game even comes out of alpha.
You can't have it both ways. Either the game is done (which CDPR lied about) or you need to go back on your promises and institute a hard crunch for five months to get it finished. You don't do a five months crunch, after being apologetic for previous such practices, to polish a finished product. It's like they are doing exactly what dozens of GlassDoor testimonies said they were doing.Essentially, the game is done, they're just polishing up the game. But 3 months might not be long enough to get it to an excellent state, hence the 5 month delay. Not uncommon in the slightest. If they release in April it will probably have enough bugs to hinder the experience. May as well take the time to finish up development.

It's somewhat worse than just the common way of things. It's not completely business as usual. Why does any of that matter to you personally, as a consumer? They have an excellent record of releasing a great product.
So some (alleged) ex employees made some bad glassdoor reviews and the game has been delayed. None of this is news in the industry. Fuck, it's even common.
That much is clear. It's so far from finished it will take at least five more months of hard crunch to get it ready, possibly more. I wish CDPR admitted as much when they published the April deadline when all signs pointed to not possible. The game isn't done, read the big yellow image you just posted.
Welcome to ignore, Meeho. Sheesh...
Now I know I'm doing at least something right. He’s the only person I’ve ever had on my ignore list here. I unignored him later because I thought maybe I was being silly. He’s back to being the only one on my list

They've been saying it's "feature ready" for almost half a year: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/cyberpunk-2077-is-already-playable-start-to-finish/1100-6461385/Done = Feature ready. Meaning all game play elements are implemented, usually referred to as the alpha stage. So there is only polishing and fine tuning left. They're saying the same thing in the delay announcement.
Witcher 3's initial release will look like smooth sailing compared to Cyberpunk, barring another (probable) delay.
So the September release falls into the time frame I just mentioned? It's not like they have been claiming their game is in alpha stage for the past 6 years like a certain company. They've been saying it's "feature ready" for almost half a year: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/cyberpunk-2077-is-already-playable-start-to-finish/1100-6461385/
What, you expected them to say it is less ready later than it was earlier? They're saying the same thing in the delay announcement.
There is not enough information to even make guesses, let alone bold predictions like that.Witcher 3's initial release will look like smooth sailing compared to Cyberpunk, barring another (probable) delay.
I'm saying the game is mismanaged as reported, official statements about its progress have been BS, unrealistic release dates have been announced since the original release date reveal, and CDPR is treating their employees as shit as per usual despite touting otherwise. So the September release falls into the time frame I just mentioned? What is it exactly that you're trying to say? That the soup is spoiled without even seeing it, let alone tasting it?
By whom? White guilt ridden journos made uneasy by the voodoo boys or the trans poster?I'm saying the game is mismanaged as reported
Based on what? Do you have inside information on the game's progress? You wouldn't be playing word ninja here in that case.official statements about its progress have been BS
Journos with a proven track record of verified insider information, and dozens of employees whose claims, while unverified, panned out so far.By whom? White guilt ridden journos made uneasy by the voodoo boys or the trans poster?
Based on aforementioned reports, and everything CDPR themselves presented so far and stated in various forms.Based on what? Do you have inside information on the game's progress? You wouldn't be playing word ninja here in that case.
You are not going to present any sources are you? Panned out but unverified, that's a paradox. If it is unverified you don't know if it panned out or not.Journos with a proven track record of verified insider information, and dozens of employees whose claims, while unverified, panned out so far.

Games are about a month out when they have gone gold. The base game is probably done like they said but I am sure they have encountered bugs that weren't acceptable to them. This shows CDPR isn't ran by bean counter but by people that give a damn.Ea would have released it at a hard deadline the only requirement would be it reached golden state. Which cyber punk 2077 has been for months now. The fact that cdpr can delay 8 months is a sign they both care about what they put out and the marketing department does not run the show
Hundreds of parallels sounds exactly like what it is. Empty phrase. When people resort to qualifiers and quantifiers it means they have nothing concrete. I somehow highly doubt that cdpr employees didn't know what the game was about until last E3.https://kotaku.com/as-cyberpunk-2077-development-intensifies-cd-projekt-r-1834849725
"four former CD Projekt Red employees reached out to tell me that they had seen similar problems in Warsaw. “I’ve felt that there are hundreds of parallels that could be drawn between the story of the rocky development of Anthem and the story of the rocky and even-more-rocky-to-become development of Cyberpunk 2077,” said one former CDPR employee in an e-mail. “At times, I’ve felt I could just replace the studio name and the game title, and it would all look so similar, almost identical.”"
You'll have to back that last claim with a quote. I've stated from the beginning that I want the game to be good and that these development issues won't necessarily turn out a worse game, but increase the likelihood and that would make me disappointed, not happy. You're the same as other fanboys here, you can't separate criticism of CDPR's management of the project from trolling or trashing the game outright, or making it a 100% equivalent to SC if there are similar develompment/management issues mentioned.Hundreds of parallels sounds exactly like what it is. Empty phrase. When people resort to qualifiers and quantifiers it means they have nothing concrete. I somehow highly doubt that cdpr employees didn't know what the game was about until last E3.
Either way if you want to bury the game based on hearsay and the empty words of disgruntled ex-employees, go right ahead, you are not forced to like it. The problem is that you want it to fail, and revel in the idea. I don't even presume to know why.
Would you feel better if I substituted SC for Anthem. Or would you still prefer a safe space to fawn over your favorite developer that can do no wrong, like a child? Are you that incapable of seeing a company as an adult and acknowledging they can be pretty flawed in how they do things, just like anyone else? Does it hurt when the similarities between those fanboys and you become obvious?M76 This dude isn't worth arguing with on this topic. He is nothing but hating on this game because he some how thinks CP2077 is the same origin as SC. He's just trolling and earned himself an ignore from most of us already.....
Your conduct speaks for itself. Regardless of your intention that's how it comes across. If that isn't the case then all you have to blame is yourself. You'll have to back that last claim with a quote.
Overtime is not unique to CDPR or the gaming industry for that matter. Again if you seek reasons to be disappointed you'll be disappointed. How CDPR and their employees schedule their work hours is none of my business and couldn't care less about it, and it certainly has no bearing on my enjoyment of a game.I've stated from the beginning that I want the game to be good and that these development issues won't necessarily turn out a worse game, but increase the likelihood and that would make me disappointed, not happy.
When it comes to CDPR I'm the last person on earth who you want to accuse of being a fanboy. Others on the forum can attest to that. You're the same as other fanboys here, you can't separate criticism of CDPR's management of the project from trolling or trashing the game outright, or making it a 100% equivalent to SC if there are similar develompment/management issues mentioned.
Again with the generalizations. If you want to prove something you have to bring the evidence. That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. You forget that SC and Anthem are both playable, so everyone can see the state they are in for themselves, that is the proof itself of the mismanagement. You have more concrete issues raised, you just don't want to acknowledge them because they haven't come with an official CDPR verification stamp, which is absurd to expect. It's easier to dismiss them as fabrications, even though dozens of GlassDoor reviews would have to be faked, proven journos manipulated and observed lack of substantial showing after 8 year development, unrealistic timeframes stated and redacted, chosen to be disregarded. I bet you didn't have similar issues when SC or Anthem were discussed.
Then call the bs moments and don't just generalize or change the subject when I ask for concrete examlpes. Doing overtime must be terrible for some CDPR employees, but I don't care about that. Do you expect me to research to back up your claims?I love CDPR, mostly for what they did with GOG and the way they treat gamers, but it won't stop me from calling out their BS moments as well.
I'm not the one emotionally invested in the game or the company. Most of my posts about Cyberpunk were initiated by people attacking me for mentioning development issues and CDPR's mismanagement, which was amusing. Especially the hypocrisy. I'll continue to post here if I feel like it if it's Cyberpunk related, be it development or gameplay. If you don't like it, either ignore it or go to /r/cyberpunkgame. It's not about talking about it in a negative or positive light, that's for haters and fanboys, it's about talking about relevant things. Management and development issues on one of the more anticipated games in a while are relevant, if not what fanboys want mentioned.Meeho Why do you care so much? What does any of this matter? Do you have some kind of emotional investment in cdpr or something? All anyone here cares about is if the game is good when it comes out which we won't know until September. If you want to talk about the development of the game and the devs in a negative light RPG Codex is a way better place to do that. It's full of people like you. I don't think anyone here cares about your crusade.
Or people that don't read what is written, just what they feel is written. Not my problem.Your conduct speaks for itself. Regardless of your intention that's how it comes across. If that isn't the case then all you have to blame is yourself.
I expect you to read the sources provided, especially when you ask for them. The fact that you keep mentioning overtime as some main point shows you have no intention of either reading nor acknowledging the issues being raised about Cyberpunk's development, just like you have no intention of reading and replying to what is written, just what it makes you feel it's about. Then call the bs moments and don't just generalize or change the subject when I ask for concrete examlpes. Doing overtime must be terrible for some CDPR employees, but I don't care about that. Do you expect me to research to back up your claims?

This has nothing to do with CDPR being a favorite dev, they aren't my favorite. You are jsut being a jackass and bring up a bunch of BS no one here really cares about. In the real world no work place is perfect, everyone doesn't get along. You are basically pointing out the obvious and trying to tell the rest of us to care when we do not. Stop with the safe space BS there is no safe space in life grow the F up.Would you feel better if I substituted SC for Anthem. Or would you still prefer a safe space to fawn over your favorite developer that can do no wrong, like a child? Are you that incapable of seeing a company as an adult and acknowledging they can be pretty flawed in how they do things, just like anyone else? Beta is feature complete. It means the game is done, they are just fixing bugs and other issues. Alpha is when they are still implementing gameplay features. you forgot the 11GB update EA would of done on release day.. and then the subsequent multi-GB updates each week for the next 6 months fixing shit that should of never been an issue.
Would HAVE
Sorry to be a grammar nazi but I've been seeing this almost every day in various places lately and it's starting to drive me insane
Does speling n grammer even exit ne more? Are you seeing it everywhere, or just hear and their?
