Cool trailer say a guy commenting about all the partical effects flying by in another video.

[Krenum]

Looks cool, but also very clunky.

[brennok]

Didn't read the article before clicking it and I wondered if they licensed the Black Desert Online engine. Apparently it is a sequel. I could never get into BDO though.

Some cool graphical effects...

That is literally the same video posted in the OP from 2020. There hasn't been a word out of Pearl Abyss about the game since then.

Black Desert Online, Kingdomcome Deliverance,
and Assassin Creed series

I like the partial effects but it's overwhelming green grass Asian vibes.

Looks like The Witcher 3 more than anything, which isn't a bad thing. I'm just happy we're getting a single player version of BDO.

Sony offered developer Pearl Abyss a publishing deal, but they were turned down because the developer doesn't want to locked in an exclusivity period. Pearl Abyss is self-publishing the action RPG spin off said to have a release date some time next year.

Looks ok but really went overboard on partical effects

[brennok]

I always forget this game is going to be single player.

[GoldenTiger]

I always forget this game is going to be single player.

Yeah, it was supposed to be an mmorpg. I couldn't care less about it now.

Wait what? Now I'm interested

It was originally announced as an mmorpg, but now it's just going to be a singleplayer game of some kind.

It was always a single player game, AFAIK. You still have Black Desert if you want a MMORPG.

Black Desert online and Kingdom come Deliverance if it had magic. This game will sell big on promotion alone.
