Mr. Redbeard is in Taipei, do you think there is any chance a new Corsair chassis could be announced?
$199 for a case??? What?
I'm getting a 6950 and I'll use it naked
Thats odd, I can barely hear my fans, But I use a lamptron fan controller, But even when I tried 4 fans connected to the built-in controller, I didnt notice my fans that loud.
It's pretty subjective. I think mine are not necessarily loud (they were with the buzzing from the original fan set up), but I still want them more quiet.
If there really is an "810D" then damn...I know I am going to want it.
This is my new fav video card, I packed up my 2nd 6870, to return and am gonna just run a single card until the die shrink, AMD series 7000 or Nvidia series 600, then get into one of these Asus triple slot cards. Should be more than enough video power for office apps and an occasional game.
and that Obsidian 810!

You'll be very satisfied with it. I'm a long time Lian LI fan and the 650D has impressed me very much. The 650D will probably be my next case; it's quite sweet I say.
You're going to buy that for office apps?
That's a serious waste of money, man!
Here is Mr. Redbeard, going over Corsair Link in detail from his hotel room, Hey George!!!

I'm more interested in the H80 as the H100 will likely be overkill for my rig.
Hmm, SRP is only a $10 difference between the two, for that kinda price diff, would be a far better buy to go with the H100.
BTW, it does support 4 fans from the looks of it as the block has connectors for 4 fans while the H80 has connectors for 2 fans.
Here is some good news, H100 will support Corsair Link, available in June and a suggested retail of $119USD, that means $99 no tax free shipping from Amazon, I'm in baby!!! Those eight mounts look like a perfect fit for the 650D...Pretty sure you can mount either 2 or 4 fans, Nice! Be great if it came with some long Corsair gromms instead of hard metal screws...
fantomau,
If you are really dying to get into an AX850, then by all means pick one up, I was just suggesting you wait, since you had expressed interest in the "Corsair Link" device and I was told the AX series will NOT support Corsair Link, yet the new Platinum Series will. I don't know all the details yet but would love to be able to adjust the psu fan up or down and read various temps inside, but your choice man!
Other forums have posted Corsair's announcement of the new coolers.
very cool!
damn makes the choice harder---get the carbide + h100 or 650d + h50....choices choices....
So the H100 is coming in June? or is that the corsair link coming in june?
ok.. so Corsair pretty much just snuck into my wallet and took money for the h100 and the Corsair link with lights.
I'm wondering though, how thick is the rad on the h100? Will it fit the 650d with 25mm fans in push/pull?
I also need to figure out where i can mount that sexy looking Link box to be visible from the window on the 650d...
650d + h100
