The download won't start for me, and when I click the link to do it manually, I get a "Page could not be displayed" error. Yahoo sucks even more than Fileplanet apparently, so I'll just wait for my reserved download to start.

Yahoo blows more chunks than Martha Stewart before becoming a criminal...Connection times out every time for me.
 
Anyone have a torrent to this, yahoo servers went down lol. Pretty sure i can download a torrent at more than 50KB. :)

Might be on v3.newzbin.com in awhile if it's not there already...for you NZB users. Also there are other NZB sites that are free. Check binsearch.info for newsgroup files as well.
I'll be getting it from the newsgroups as soon as I see it if the download from yahoo doesn't work well for me.

The system reqs aren't that low if you ask me. I'm sure in order for it just to START, those are the reqs. "Recommended settings" aren't that high though, I'd agree.
 
Definitely not on newsgroups yet. How is anyone going to put it up when it can't be downloaded?

You do realize how torrents work right? Even with a few seeds everyone else is still sharing their bits with everyone else(besides the douchebag leechers). How many people are wasting bandwidth by constantly trying to download the file just for it to timeout from yahoo causing more delays for other people. All yahoo needed to do was seed the file and it would be all over the place right now with multiple seeds.

Also, the BT protocol will spread the pieces of the whole file out amongst all peers, which would mean it would not take very long for all the parts to exist other than on the seed. I'll bet they could host a torrent seed farm on a much smaller server footprint than what they are using for their current file hosts.

It doesn't take very long for a torrent to get spread out enough so that everyone can start getting it, so yes very early on it will be slow, but that wouldn't last for very long before everyone started getting blistering speeds. How long is it going to take before big companies start jumping on the torrent bandwagon? Linux distros are already there.
 
You'd think a website that's partnered with one of the country's largest ISPs could come up with a better server.
 
Does this game use DX10? Trying to decide if I should install it in XP or Vista when its done downloading
 
This game seriously has some of the best graphics and gun-play ever in a fps. Launching a rocket at a tank is just awesome!

I didn't like the level at all though. The CoD series still feels the need to cater to the A.D.D. crowd - where they throw 1000000 enemies at you in order to make it feel intense.

But I'm thinking it's either the demo balance, or the level. Because all the gameplay vids I've seen of this game thus far haven't been like this. We'll see.
