Just wondering how many fans people use in their case .. think i might have too many

i have

7 total

in = 1x120 & 2x80
out = 1x120 & 1x80
psu = 1x120
rad = 1x120(radbox)

1x 120mm and 1x 80mm fan on PSU (hiper type r)

Thats in total - 16 fans - i think i have too much lol it is not set up though as im painting my case (lian li pc75)

The Netfinity 4500R's have 5 including PSUs; 3x92mm Delta Triblade with ducting over CPUs and 2x 45mm PSUs.

Talon2/SCGT has: 8x 120x38, 2x 92x25, 1x 80x25, 8x 40x20, 2x172mm Blower - Total 21 fans - ~31dBA

Blackwind has: 9x 120x38, 4x 80x38 - Total 13 fans - ~OMFG dBA

On my temporary rig, which is pretty much just a case with no panels, i.e., a frame:

1x70mm - on first ram stick (mainly for cooling help on CPU)

1x70mm - custom exhaust panel on side window
1x??mm - NV Silencer 5 fan

Yeah I'm pushin like 11. :D Good old Sunbeam Rheo. One problem though...two of my rheo channels fried on me. Sucked.

Wait a minute....you have 4 fans blowing on a radiator(s), and you still have a Northbridge fan? And 4 case fans?
You sure love your fans.

In: 2x80 Coolermaster fans in the front (I wish my ATC-110 had a 120 intake, but oh well), 1 80mm cooler master fan in the rear

A total of 13...eight 80's in my wall of fans, 2 90's on my CPU's, 1 80 cooling my HDDs, and 2 on the antec PSU...here a link to it...Wooden dualie
