Not sure what seems to have fixed my disconnection options but I was finally able to (after like 5 days!) game last night for nearly 4 hours with zero issues. Perhaps one of the last two patches fixed the issue, not sure. I hope the issue is fixed LOL. Hopefully the resetting hotbar icons problem is fixed for me as well.
 
Just noticed that the game mutes itself now when you send it to tray.
 
That was already with the patch before today :) .

The double xp goes pretty fast , supposedly it is for everything so if you have a stupid amount of resources and you want to train life skills now is the time ;) .

It is only for combat xp. and it is a 10% increase.

Yeah i stopped at 1 pot, and set of earings.

I just wanted one of each because you know, like anything limited if i don't have it later i will want it and not have it or something.

But i don't really want to go over board decorating a house with a bunch of the plants either, one in the corner is enough for me

on a side note i got my first piece of Grunil up to +15 its the helm , the others are +13 Chest and +11 / +11

I still need buy 5 more helms from the amity vendor to bring its durability back up to 100 so i can attempt to turn it ultimate but i think i am going to focus on buying chests/gloves/boots until they are all +15 and then go back and bring them all up to 100 durability to get them ready for ultimate status.

Also speeking of farming, i might need to free up some contribution points to start a carrot farm so i can farm carrots for my horses for the new auto pathing ugh..
 
I have seen a bunch of people making "fishing master" on my server. Not to sure what is going on there..

I had some contribution point to spare so now I can farm ten cherry trees at once.

Is there a way to pick up the egg quests? I dumped them to make room for some Khruto hunting or whatever those evil things are called and now I can't seem to get them from the priests. I can still collect eggs so there has to be a way to get the quest to turn them in correct?

I had to dump a bunch of my quests to make other quests work so I said why not dump these too. Guess that was a fail. :) NPCs will give my alts "Kill enemies until you know about them" quests even though I already have it unlocked on the Valkyrie. So I have to accept the quest, kill a few enemies so that I know that I have those enemies unlocked, dump it, remember where I go t it from, then pick it up again and I can instantly turn it in.

Still can't do the Heidel story line. Without spoiling Heidel, do I need to do extensive questing in Calphelon to unlock the quests in Heidel? One of the locked guys seems to be stirring up trouble over there. Everyone says that I need to know more about another unknown person before I can talk to them. I have a quest to talk to a person that refers me to another person that won't have a conversation with me.

I'm a quest-a-holic. So this is irritating me to no end. :) Yes, this is the only complaint that I have with the game so far. Oh and I bred my first horse (2) T1's and the foal was a T3 female. Hopefully that won't be the only one. ;)
 
I decided to dip my fingers into a MMO again. Its been a long while since I had. Bought and downloaded BDO today. Only got to play for about an hour and a half today before having to go to work. The gender lock does suck but I knew about it before jumping in. Graphically the game does look nice. I made a Ranger. Always have liked archer type classes. A Berserker may have been a better starting class in this game but I really like archers so went with it. Looking forward to getting into this game and see how good/bad it is. I been reading and watching lots of vids about it so I'm not totally clueless although I do feel that way anyways. LOL

As you saw, last weekend we ran a Bonus Combat EXP Event following the emergency maintenance. Unfortunately the event did not go as planned as players from the EU Servers got the benefit of additional EXP for Fishing, Trading, and Training. This was due to a mistake on our end and the effect was active for the whole weekend. To remedy this gap we will be running the same event for the NA Servers this coming weekend. We are aware that this was not announced beforehand for the EU Servers, but we believe this is the best way to preserve the leveling curve between the 2 regions.

Ouuuu..... I actually had no idea that you can gain >50 carrots from single seed. I looks like I may end up doing some farming in the future too.

Now I just have to sell my ~280 cherry blossom petals....

Yeah i still need 2 more cont. points before i can get a farm, all my cont. points are tied up in high level nodes or the forges needed to make ultimate grunil and stables.
 
Unfortunately I am extremely disappointed with this game.
I preoredered $99 pack and played a lot in the beginning. I actually liked the expensive costumes and supported that.

But I do understand the frustration, everyone looks the same unless you buy those costumes. I don't care about that to be honest, I have my exclusive costume and weapon. I don't even need to bother with the cash shop costumes. But it kills variation. Gender lock also kills variation.
The controls are terrible. You have the same controls for both strafe and turn. And you can't remap them. So if you're pvping and want to strafe, your character sometimes suddenly starts turning.

Kudos to spitting out content that fast, I'm sure it will be a lot more popular in the west than Aion, Tera and Blade & Soul combined, but it will NEVER, EVER be as awesome as Lineage 2 was.

I've only played Witch so I don't know if all classes have a similar dodge ability, but in terms of strafing while in combat, I think the design is for you to input the dodge command to hop strafe left, right, or backwards.

In terms of the character suddenly turning while trying to strafe, I think I've only had that happen when I have some auto navigation path enabled.

Does anyone know a quick key command to toggle the navigation path on & off quickly?

What I find strange, or at least one of the things I find strange is that there is this talk all over the net about how the game is already dead. Which is weird because last night, on a Monday night, of all nights, all the NA servers were crowded. There seems to be this group of people that really believe or want it to happen. Kinda funny in a strange way.

By the way, I was really looking forward to Maehwa but I'm not sure... Is it completely useless against multiple targets? I wish that Musa and Maehwa would have been equal in everything.

No idea, i have not paid to much attention to the blader/plum classes, since i have been waiting for Kunoichi my self.

I mean i say browse youtube gameplay of the plum? thats about the best source for material.

Aye, it's rather misleading number. I can just send the game to tray and work or go out while my character does fishing automatically for example.
 
Don't forget to get your cooking skill up. For beer wheat is also very good and easy to get from Heidal connected nodes (2) . Your cooking will take of at skilled 3-4 you will often get 4 beers and in a batch of 100 attempts you can end up with 15 cool draft beer(blue). Even fried fish is getting crispy fried fish (blue) every now and then.

On my server been selling beer for around 999 if prices drop just don't sell it ;) .
 
999 for a unit of beer? That's pretty nice. I been trying fishing since yesterday because I got that fish quest in Velia. Took some trial and error. Ended up just afk fishing my reflexes are so slow. LOL Today I was trying to get my trade nodes up and working so I can sell the fish at 100% instead of 30%. That guy in the fort (forget its name), Luke I think, keeps telling me I need a link between Coastal Cliff and the fort. Which I have activated both and the map even shows the link up but he keeps telling me I need it. I finally gave up today out of frustration and took a break. Not sure what I'm missing. The community is really helpful but I hate having to watch videos all the time just to learn something the game should be telling me. And the lack of inventory space... don't even get me started on that. I'm doing the quests but two places every once in a while just sucks. I suppose I could get a donkey or a horse and cart. Haven't tried that yet. My ranger is currently L16.
