Darkkmind said:I agree. I was expecting more fighting in urban environments.
Im already bored of this game

With only 16 players per team, you are often spread very thinly and therefore, no intense firefights on the scale you would expect in Karkand

Dear lord, why is nobody understanding this? This isn't an "OMGosh I get to play a game for free before everyone else!!" exercise, it is meant for you to record the goddamn problems and let the developers know. The purpose of the fucking NDA is not to prevent you telling people it's a beta, because we all already know that. People who already have fileplanet subscriptions have them for reasons other than the BF2142 beta, and anyone paying for the Beta knows they are paying for a bug-ridden POS because it is a Beta as indicated by the name, "Beta".
Seriously, get a clue, please.
EDIT: That could have been a bit more coherent, but I don't really care at the moment.

WuTangClam said:As if the devs care about fixing the bugs. The red tag bug in BF2 has been there since the demo. This is nothing more than a marketing strategy to get fileplanet more subscribers. Why else would the beta be a fileplanet exclusive? EA has likely recieved some sort of compensation ($$$) in partnership with FP for this.
I agree with you though that the BF2142 beta is probably a bug-ridden POS.

Wally said:Put it this way; anyone who participates in the beta, and then pisses and bitches about the retail release being buggy despite not having made any effort of their own to catalogue the bugs deserves a solid slap.

Nirad9er said:I also asked the question of how to submit bugs for BF2142. Is there a website I need to go to or an interface in the game.
Thanks
WhyYouLoveMe said:I don't get it. That's the point of a beta - to document bugs/performance and report back. What does open source have to do with the price of tea in China?
whiteboy said:no sorry I don't have any idea about game beta's...ur telling me they actually expect you guys to
1. pay for a fileplanet subscription just to get a key
2. play a game which is obviously no improvement for a whole new game
3. submit bugs for an old engine that should have been fixed long ago (not counting new bugs)
4. pay for the game that you helped create
It would seem a little bit more logical if any of you thought it was remotely better *newer* than bf2
I was hoping for a whole new game
whiteboy said:EA isn't going to switch their whole goddamn engine when people start whining. No, many will just have to not buy it for anything to become effective.
whiteboy said:Me either, hell I don't even own bf2 and was waiting till the new one came out to go near it. Personally, especially with the ss's and everything was expecting a whole new game, kinda pisses me off that it seems like an expansion.
There are no other games like bf2 that are as good as it, just now I am realizing how a good game is in the hands of not so good developer
But still, and you'll agree, no much besides little bugfixes will be improved which is good for the game itself, but isn't going to change much. EA isn't going to switch their whole goddamn engine when people start whining. No, many will just have to not buy it for anything to become effective.
Brucelee said:no, to take more vidoes and screenshots & show people it's not worth paying for the crap-o Beta. That is What the NDA does not want you to know, couse then no one would pay for it.
Dapperdan said:do you even know what a NDA?
WhyYouLoveMe said:NDA = A super secret document containing information harmful to the human race.

spaceman said:It starts with their leadership walking around with their fingers in their ears and thumbs up their ass(they have really big, flexible hands ok?) and that trickles down to the coders. What decent coder would want to work for such morons? So who's left? Well, judging by the patching process, a bunch of really drunk and stoned Matadors.
