:rolleyes: Wow...you really don't get it.

No one said VPNs in general are a hack. Basically here you are using a VPN to spoof your IP in order to gain early access. How you can say it's not circumventing the time lock is just astounding. That is exactly what you're doing.

In another hour it'll be moot, anyway.

Hmm I'm guessing my 3.4GHz Q9550 may be holding it back a bit, going to check my CPU/GPU load later on tonight. I was averaging between 35-45 FPS in outdoor areas in the campaign and the game defaults High settings as well.
 
ugh, my game wouldn't update and somehow deleted itself and every time I install it says "READY TO INSTALL"... annoyed.

Maybe try and bump it down to med. I was averaging 60-70 on med.
 
I was given an email how to redeem codes but I was given no codes...

Can someone help? I just got it from Origin. Or is it that the codes are already inputted?

I got the limited edition.

Log into Origin, then click on the Gear on the menu and choose Redeem Code, hope that helps, think that is how I did it before.
 
This game is bringing my system to its knees. I've never once had a single stability issue with it but now I'm getting artifacts, the game crashing to desktop and already a couple of random reboots.
 
Well the game is downloading right now. I do click on the cog, which is what the email says to do, but no code comes up. I can't find a code anywhere for the Physical Warfare pack or anything like that. And I did just refresh my games list.
 
I think I got it figured out. Since I got the Limited Edition, it all works fine and the codes were automatically put in.
 
yea.... i was playing for a few hours this evening and then it crashed. when i restarted it, it applied the new 40mb patch, and now its stuck in the infinite installing loop. i just had to delete the whole damn thing and started a fresh reintstall.
 
I have to leave and go out of town on business tomorrow afternoon. Which means I only have 2 or 3 hrs to play.

Does the multiplayer spoil the single player game? Or are the maps completely different in single player vs multi?
 
Holy crap! Didn't realize they moved the time up three hours! Only twenty minutes left to go! :eek::D

Fingers crossed it launches and runs smoothly!

As long as it does, I'd say that was rather "nice" of EA/DICE to bump-up the release time!

Seems like people are having an alright time getting things to run, for the most part. Man, after all these years of playing the entire BF franchise to death, I hope it lives up to expectations *fingers crossed*!
 
Getting a lot of "microstutters" in this no matter what my graphics settings are, and the beta (and even the alpha) ran beautifully for me. :/ Just about unplayable. Borderline at best.
 
Ohhh man... 6 minutes... I have favourite songs longer than that! Time to pour a nice icy glass of Red Bull, dust off the mousing surface, and GET MY BF ON!
 
Is anyone else getting "you were disconnected from the login server"? Every time I try and join a multiplayer map that occurs.

Nope... I had an issue when patching that it thought the game was uninstalled, so I moved the folder, restarted the download as a fresh install, closed origin, moved folder back, and then it patched fine (around 50mb) and works perfectly now :D.
 
so is spawning on your squadmates broken or what? is it now an unlock or somethin?

I played for about an hour... so far Canals is my favorite new map

Do they already have a patch? I am on 1.0.0; I downloaded it from Amazon last week.
 
WTF, EA support Chat is telling me to be patient as the game is not released yet. Yet I can get into the single player game...

A small one, you have to "repair install" in Origin for it to show up. I couldn't join a server without doing so.

I'd like a post-game chat box instead of just the scoreboard/unlocks, would be nice to be able to chat between rounds.
