Ill go steal a copy from the store... Fuck EA.. Its not our fault they had some piss poor way of authenticating the accounts.
 
I was just playing, no problems.

Took out a chopper with a tank main cannon, from a nice distance too. I think the guy was surprised cause he typed into chat afterwards :).
 
Just changed the notification on Battlelog

Doubtful. I have a 570 OC'd to meet / beat the stock 580 performance. I have to turn EVERYTHING off for a good run in MP at 1440p. at 1600 you might run out of juice. I'm also using 1.2gigs of VRAM with no AA...
 
They aren't going to ban everyone who used the proxy trick (including me).

Though I must admit it would be mildly amusing :p

Indeed, when it first happened there were no google results for the error, now there are 13 results, meaning there are probably thousands of players that did this.

I would laugh my ass off! What a way to boost sales! I'm glad I remained patient and waited. I kind of figured no good would come from doing that VPN shit.

Running 2560x1440, I7 950 at 3.8GHZ, 12gb of RAM, 570 at 920 core.

Everything is at ultra, all AA is off, filtering at 1x. By "everything" I was referring to the AA modes.

Seems to run pretty smooth, when I can get back in the game I'm going to load the FPS counter and see what I am actually pulling.

Felt smoother the second time I played than the first. Wonder if they are sorting out some server stuff.

You can't act ignorant about the issue. If it worked, you would be grinning over your abilities to defeat the system.

In the grand scheme of things, it gave people an unfair advantage over the waves of rank 1's which will flood the servers. I bet they will only reset the ranks, not ban accounts - if they do anything at all.

One would hope that is.

Edit: looks like nothing is happening, yay.

I can sacrifice AA, but I want the texture/models etc to be at the highest... Hopefully I can get a somewhat smooth experience.

They are resetting the ranks, if they went further and banned accounts then I would no longer support EA as I said in that statement. I'm not acting ignorant about the issue at all.

I still halfway be surprised if they reset accounts and maybe that's the fair and right thing to do.

I'm saying this as someone who took advantage of the workaround myself. Granted, I just crossed rank 1 so obviously I wouldn't be losing much compared to some others already but...yeah.
 
I'm gonna Ddos the date check server thing until I can brute force my way in or it brings their whole system down. Anyone wanna help?
 
Did anyone notice the bizarre cap on mouse look speeds? Like I can look around at full speed until I turn more than 45 degrees or so, then I can only turn it a certain speed no matter how fast I move my mouse or what sensitivity settings I'm using.
 
How do you guys think the graphics compared to Crysis 2 w/ DX11. That game runs like a pig in comparison to what i saw of BF3.
 
Why would EADICE reset stats and/or threaten bans if they gave the go-ahead for unlocking the game early? Do I sense butthurt from certain game retail chains?
