I'm betting the guy in the teaser trailer is staring down a Zeppelin.
Well looks like you nailed it

RIP Call of Duty garbage.....
Exactly. Bf4 was exactly the same. The video they showed doesn't look that much different.... they should have been more creative and shook things up. Looks like they didn't lean in enough with the setting tooFancy trailer for a game that's going to have the same dice mechanics they haven't switched in a long time.

Just like every other Battlefield game, I'm sure your avatar will be superhuman and fling around LMG's like they were nothing.
Also, if this alternate history, The browning assault rifle (BAR) came out in 1917 and saw limited use in WWI. 30 caliber man portable machine guns came out in later parts of WWI like the M1917 and then the later air cooled variant M1919 in 1919. The French Chauchat and Hotchkiss M1909's were popular LMG's also after 1916.
When I say "man-portable" that was relative. Usually one guy would carry the gun while the other carried the tripod. They rarely fired them on the move like a soldier could with an M249 SAW today. That being said, by the time the M1919 came out the US Marine Corps did eventually create a special front carry handle for them so the Marines could sweep out trenches and bunkers when they invaded Pacific Islands in WWII. This being an alternate history WWI, it's entirely possible.
I find it strange they would take a series known for it's expansive maps and vertical scale and place it in a trench.
Well the battlefront trailer said the same thing and everyone doubted it and guess what it looked like it did in the trailer. I dont doubt that the game will at least look very close to the trailer, for sure on pc it will. That trailer looked really good, the DICE guy said it was all in-engine, but I have a hard time believing those graphics. I was down on it when I first heard WWI, but now I'm getting a little hyped if it's going to look/play like that.
Sorry, I know it's browning automatic rifle. old habit. I'm fully aware of where it was categorized.BAR = Browning Automatic Rifle. Its a class of weapons between LMGs and rifles. Different role from your typical rifle. Essentially think of it as the M249 of WWII. Those other things were essentially placed weapons. Firing from the move was almost impossible and impractical. I know they conveniently get around this by going the "alternative timeline" route, so I expect to see everyone with a BAR.
this did NOT need its own event. what the fuck were they thinking?

Count me in for a copy. The first aircraft carriers, subs, planes, tanks, chemical warfare... and no laser targeted missiles, 32 times magnified scopes....
Makes me nostalgic for BF1942 and all the fun I had playing that on my P4 and ti4200 as a freshman in college when it released!
That was a good show. I hated the ending though...So this will be based off of Man in the High Castle?![]()
