playing on deathwhisper, so far not much problems, aside from some douchebags on OOC.

But the people who try to RP for the hell of it, it is truly hilarious.
 
hehe Deathwhisper gotta love the whole 'hate the goons' thingy going on makes it interesting.
Just did Cistern Instance on my ToS mostly dps build (lightning and thunder). Didnt think was enough but just 5 of us, I was able to use HoTs to heal and killed all bosses. ToS = sick damage adequate healing = best class ever created in any MMO! Having fun with barbarian also. Anyone that likes to heal and deal damage Tempest of Set is the class for you.
 
Will try to get invites out again this evening. Work schedule has been kinda hectic lately. Once I get the first few people it shouldn't be a problem getting invites (will just give everyone the option to recruit.) Should be on 4-8pm est again.

Shouldn't be too bad. Field of the Dead and Tarantia Noble District quests should take you to 46ish.. From there its kind of short on quests until 50. What you can do at this point is grind the Wanted posters at the Outpost in Fields of the Dead. Theres 4 of them you can do, each one gives about 3500xp for killing 20 mobs and you can take them as many times as you need.

One thing to note though, all the instances from 40 onward ARE epic by default and need a group to do the quests there. Unless maybe you're some sort of broken class like a priest =D
 
I am still looking for a good guild on Derketo, if anyone knows of one please let me know.
 
Just hit lvl 30 on my ranger. I am really liking the game. I am little disappointed in the armor variety. I look the same at lvl 30 as I did at lvl 10. I see higher lvl players running around that look pretty bad too. Maybe the nice looking armor is 50+. :D I haven't tried out pvp yet mainly because I have no idea where the pvp area is. The graphics blow me away sometimes. Amazing looking landscapes.

So far so good. On to 31!

I'm up to 44. Sofar the game is kinda bland but im hangin in there waiting to see what end game is like.

Also worth noting that it runs like shit on my wifes 7600GT system. I can turn it down so low it looks like ultima online in a fog bank (well almost) and its still choppy.
 
I'm lvl 45, liking the game but my guy looks like a total douche, god cloth / light armor need a rehaul.

Like I mean, sure he looks buff and all, and has a pretty mean face, but who is going to be afraid of some guy running around in a skirt?!?!?!
 
Feh, nothing blue blue screens of death about nv4_disp.dll every few hours for me. Unimpressed, but not with the game, I blame nVidia and their god awful drivers that seem to get worse each release.
 
thats strange as ive been playing the game non stop pretty much since it came out and not had one single issue be it with the game itself or nvidia drivers. rock solid stability here

I've had a few issues with it. One of which is the screen will black out every now and then. I'll have to switch to the desktop and back to the game to fix that. Fortunately it has never happened in combat. When Quad-SLI is enabled, the performance is all over the place. Sometimes the performance is better than a single card, and other times it gets cut in half. The game also doesn't perform as well as it should given how it looks in certain areas. I don't know if they need to clean up the net code or what. Another thing is that this game has screwed up texturing issues all over the place. Especially in Old Tarantia and the Tarantia Noble district. Both of those areas are full of texture collisions and I've also got issues with the ground textures shifting between grey and green. There are some obvious lighting issues in those areas as well. That's really the only place where the issues are really horrendous. However there are a ton of bugged quests. I'm finding them increasingly more often now that I'm over level 40. Additionally the Pyramid has clipping issues with some of the doors. The two doors which have the Emerald Guardians you can walk right through at anytime. You just pass through it like its' not there. The same is true for the door where the end guy is in that place.

The mini-map not working at all in some indoor areas really pisses me off. That makes moving through the Pyramid a huge pain in the ass. The layout of the thing is confusing. I don't care if you can't see areas you haven't been yet, but it should reveal places you've already been to on your map. It would make things much less frustrating. As much as I'm enjoying playing the game, the bugs and balance issues make it feel like its' still in beta. Some of the issues like the screwed up quests really detract from the overall enjoyment of the game for me.
 
Well, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt as I haven't played it yet because it is brand new and WoW was the same way. Also anyone want to tell me whats up with the trees? My friend say they rotate with you and if this is true it, while small, will drive me absolutely up a wall.

I think the trees look perfectly fine, I have all graphic settings set to high.
 
I don't notice the trees rotating at all.. is your friend stoned or something? There are a few bugs in the game but I am already started to get bored with it. I was addicted for a few days but eh, I like to get outside every once in a while lol.

Turn off 3d occusion mapping, and the texture collision problem should go away. At least thats what solved it for me.
 
I don't really care about the trees.. they look decent to me, there's other things we should be worried about, like the lag issues and stuttering out of nowhere.

But hopefully I'll reach lvl 50 tonight :D.
 
does anyone have any screenshots of player cities/sieges yet or could point me to somewhere that has some and nice videos?
 
There aren't really any big cities up yet. My guild has a guild hall and a gate... no walls or other buildings yet. It costs gold, which is hard to come by, and materials, which take a while to gather, to build the structures.

That could be, sadly enough, I think I may pick this game up then. Server suggestions? I'm a pretty experienced MMO player (Eve Online, Linage II, WoW)

I think i found a bug.

I can't finish a part of my destiny Quest " The Awakening II" talk to Nandi or what ever her name is. Once it goes into her cut scene, it just stays there and won't let me do anything, but the game doesn't freeze, I just can't do anything, but move my mouse.
 
The game bugs out sometimes, I just hope they can start doing huge patches soon.
