why the delay monarch?

well i dont know if your being sarcastic or not but it should only take 24 hours for the review stage. Im stuck on phase 1

im not really pissed, just curious. newegg has spoiled me
 
I got 3 of those steppings from monarch. You should have no problem getting 2.8ghz at least. :p

They oc insanely well. I have mine running at 2.7ghz rock stable on stock volts. My friend has his as 2.95ghz with 1.425volts.

They are really busy, but the email helps. I sent them an email yesterday (about my graphics card) and they replied today saying they would try to get my order shipped today. So good, i will be happy if it ships today.
 
purchased 146! now lets hope i hit 2.8 on stock voltages like many of you guys are.

maybe 3.0 ghz with a voltage bump?

can some one tell me what are acceptable temps for this chip and what voltages are too high on an xp-90

my venice is at 1.55 v's atm

i hope theres isnt a con with going 146 instead of 144 . i just didnt want to run any dividers with such nice ram.
 
Oh trust me, 146 is well worth it over 144. Well it kinda depends on what ram you have, but dividers don't work out well for me witha 9x multi

my ram hits 287 so yea 287x 9= 2.58 gz or so . if i wanted more (given the chip allows it) i would need divders
 
Its worth it if the 146 stepping is good. The 144's lately have confirmed great steppings, the 146's, I dont know...
 
Every 0604 146 i've seen has hit 3 Ghz. 146s are a safe way to go, pretty much the only bad ones i've EVER seen were CABGEs, rest were all good. I've had 5 146s, and each one did at least 3 Ghz on air. Just needs the proper pushing ;)

by bad what does that mean....... 2.8? :) and how long ago did u purchase them?
 
Would have liked to purchased a 146. They werent in stock when I purchased my 144 about a month ago though. Would have liked the 10x multi. My g.skill tccd runs at 300mhz+ all day so could have had 10x300+ if I got a good chip. Even so 2.8-2.9 would have been easy. Oh well my 144 is doing well enough for me. Its at 305x9 (1;1 @ 3-4-4-9 1T) right now. Ill be getting a watercooled setup soon so cant wait for that.
 
Still no shipping today. If it doesn't ship tomarrow, I am returning it and getting one from Newegg, never once had even so much a 1 day delay from them. I realize its a good deal for the 165 and all, but most other companies I've dealt with would have had it here yesterday by now.
 
delay due to high orders to filled which I can understand but it takes about a week and haven't ship it out yet which I'm not happy with the service so I guess if my order would not ship out tomorrow then I will cancel the order
 
what kind of shipping did yall choose? i need mine fast and i upgraded to 3 day shipping. hope i get it in 3 days or ima be kinda dissapointed with my first order.

Ordered mine Sunday night...hasn't shipped yet. I'm ok if there is a delay, I just want to know the status and expected ship date. What I'm not ok with is people who ordered around the same time I did or even the next day getting their processors before I do...that's unacceptable. If Monarch is out of stock or there is a delay in processing the order for me, it should be the same across the board.

Additionally, I paid for 2 day shipping.
 
ordered friday 3pm, still in review stage but i chose cheap ground
they upgraded me to fedex 2 day for compensation of the delay? i guess?
 
I ordered friday and payed for 2nd day air. Still not shipped and I'll be waiting til at least monday now when I paid for expidited service. This really is inexcusable.
 
Customer Service is awful too. They don't answer anything.

I asked MD what steppings they were shipping

Reply: "We can not guarantee you any particular stepping"


I didnt ask for a freakin guarantee! I asked what I might get, what you guys are shipping. Gah.

Their Office/Warehouse could be at different locations; but i can understand them not confirming steppings; hell most retailers won't.

I myself have been trying to give monarch the benefit of the doubt, i understand with the overwhelming orders they are a little behind, but nothing a little overtime can't fix. Still i will patiently wait for my $2000+ gear to arrive.

I can wait 3 business days for shipping (ZZF and Egg ship within 24 hours every time for me)

4-5business days is just ridiculous.

If I don't get an 0550VPMW or something this will be my last purchase at Monarch.

from what others have posted, the optys 170's should be 0602/0604's right now, which are also great ocers. i myself am also in for an opty 170.

yes there are delays; i can understand why, this only happened because they were trying to help us with deals. So if they need a couple extra days that is perfectly fine with me.
 
I have not seen even 1 Opteron 170 that was an 06, why would you think they'd be shipping those?

can;t find the posts off the top of my head, i may be mistaken the 165's should be in the 06's.
 
Dude, you can't order a 170 and honestly expect an 0550VPMW and blame it on Monarch if you don't get one. That's absolutely ridiculous. Furthermore i don't even think you'll get an 0550, as the people who got those had their order shipped early last week. By now, they are almost certainly out of them. Monarch isn't a place to buy to get guaranteed steppings at all. I was one of the last guys to clean up 0550VPMW 165s here, and that was a month ago, when most people were getting 0551.

From what i've seen, 0602 sucks, but 0604 is alright. I need more results though.

I still love Monarch, they were bogging with my order, i emailed them, and they expedited it and it shipped yesterday and will be here friday :).
