@ eastmen I was slightly joking. Last year I went to Myrtle Beach and I think about a third of our toll costs came from going through Jersey is all.

That PDXLan looks pretty sweet. Comparing that to the PAX East even I went to back in March PDX makes the PAX East one look like a poor man's LAN.

where were you coming from ? Like i said the turn pike is only $10 bucks. Perhaps you hit the delware bridge and the gwb which are both like 8 or 10 dollar tolls

Syracuse.....Syracuse.......Syracuse.......:D

I found three more garages and an old cardboard box.....I'll buy the beer.

I have a generator and some extension cords.
We can show the Eyefinity on the side of my house, my wife makes great brownies and Toll House cookies.:p

Hell you can park in my yard for free.

I would love for you guys to come to Cincinnati, OH. We have Skyline Chili, Graeters Ice Cream, Montgomery Inn BBQ Ribs, and so much more that makes us unique. Now if you can't come to Cincinnati, I would prefer that you come within a 5 hour drive as that is more than doable with my schedule. Seriously though, we have the best Cincinnati style chili, the best ice cream, and the best ribs in the world here. This ain't no Texas style, but it is our unique regional style.

If you can come to anywhere near here, hell i'd be more than happy to help set things up.

Washington DC area?? Preferably Northern VA???

if not anywhere in WV then somewhere around me is good.

Despite the above, Fresno is the closest city to me so thats where my vote goes!

Heck yeah! Come on to Tennessee we'll clean the outhouse and fire up Earl's generator.

There are a couple convention centers here in Chattanooga and I'd be happy to help get things set up even passing out flyers to the local Gamestops and such. But honestly Atlanta or Nashville would be better I suppose for a southern show since they're twice the size of Chattanooga and it would be easier to draw a bigger crowd.

Come to Chattanooga, we've got the fastest internet in the country!

I live in Baltimore. I would love it if you could have one here. We do have an awesome convention center, and the Inner Harbor is quite the destination :D

And if the Convention Center is too large for you (Otakon packed in about 31k people this year), then the attached Hilton has plenty of large rooms available.

If not here in Baltimore, I would consider going as far north as NYC, but would prefer DC or Philly.

Try Wichita, Kansas. There are alot of cities just a few hours away, plenty of hotels, and we got a new Arena for you to host in. It would be truly EPIC.

Also, we have a monthly Lan Party in Wichita called Lan Lordz. They Avg about 100 ppl every month.

6 people voted: "Sorry, I could not handle all that excitement"

Really, WTF? Whoever voted as such should be perma-banned from the [H]!

If you can't handle that level of excitement, then why are you on the [H] anyways?

I would like to vote for Biloxi, MS, because airfare to Mobile, AL is a bit on the expensive side, and there are casinos all around Biloxi...

Nope, sorry. The AMD Gamexperience cannot go any farther than the D/FW Metroplex. I must have all of the sweet sweet free GPU, PSU, SSD, and game loots for myself!

I gotta say if it is in houston ill be there, Even better if it is in the woodlands, More rich kids there.

I live in suburban MD outside DC. I think if you did Northern Virginia, it might be too far south to pull people from Philadelphia/NJ/NYC.

However, if you did the gathering farther north, like in suburban MD, Baltimore, Wilmington, or Philadelphia, you'd get a bigger draw.

Wilmington, DE isn't too far away from Northern VA and it looks doable from NYC, too.

VA is a bit to far. I do a florida trip every year from NJ to Florida of course. Virginia is pushing it. Esp for a day trip. I figure its about 6 hours of driving depending on where in VA and where in NJ . If you hit any kinda traffice forget it.

You'd have to put it in a place in VA that has alot of stuff to make a weekend out of . 12 hour trip is just to much for a one day event

st Louis ftw

I'll toss in a vote for the St. Louis area. Near me, but also pretty central to the US.

EDIT: Or, Columbia, MO. College town, some great hang out areas, 90minutes to ST. Louis/Kansas City/Rolla (nerd/tech school), and Springfield wouldnt be too much of a drive.

Would be freaking awesome, however in my podunk little city of approx 140k people I think we have like 20 gamers besides me and a lot of those think that farmville is cutting edge tech ....
Though KC would be good as I'm only about an hours drive from there.

San Francisco loves it [H]ard! :D :D :D

Seriously though, multiple international airports in the area, 2 of which have easy BART (metro) access to convention centers in the city. A huge tech convention crowd already, and it would be awesome to have a counter to the constant Apple BS around here.

See if you can hook up with http://www.web-pass.com/ as well (no I don't work or have any connection with them). 100Mbps synchronous connection for less than Comcast's crappy 12Mbps; I don't qualify yet but really want them to get some love so they can expand!

I'm in Sacramento but as much as I hate going to the Bay Area it probably makes more sense to have it there.
