All time favorite WoW class ??

don't say hunters are good in arena. They suck balls bc of LOS issues, that's why i quit my hunter. Every class can pillar hump you, and if you look at the arena representation of 1850+ and 2k+ ratings, hunters are like 3% while rogues and droods are 25%

If your other teammate doesnt rush in there like a retard, they have to come out against you.

Viper sting, even if you dont really do that much DPS you help TREMENDOUSLY by OOMing the healer.
Frost(Or is it freezing?) trap.. bamn they cant LOS because they run the speed of snails.
Scatter shot and intimidation, easy to bust out an aimed shot with either of those.

Im not saying Hunters have it as easy as Rogues, but they don't suck.

Now they have MS shot too.

Arena ruined wow flat-out. MMORPGS should be wide scale, shrinking your best rewards to 2v2 just kills it.

QFT wow's pvp was ok before they made AV a rush to the general (god I miss 8 hour AV matches lol) But now with the arena its a complete joke. Im hoping WAR will bring me the PvP action I so want lol.

Things aren't that way anymore lol. BM hunters are probably still the best 1v1 class, but in arena they are just gimped. Frost trap=completely useless on rogues. They see it MILES away, CloS on it if not passively diffused. Every class can trinket out of traps, snares, etc. Viper sting has been nerfed so much that it sucks now, and is very easily dispelled. Indimidation is a BM skill, Scatter shot is a MM skill. MM hunters spec MM/Surv. None of the builds allows you to have both of those skills, unless you want to suck at everything else.

1850+ arena representation-
2v2
1. Druid - 184.0%
2. Rogue - 154.5%
3. Priest - 133.9%
4. Warlock - 121.2%
5. Warrior - 90.7%*
6. Shaman - 75.6%
7. Paladin - 68.8%
8. Mage - 61.1%
9. Hunter - 50.2%

3v3
1. Druid - 138.0%
2. Rogue - 154.5%
3. Priest - 133.9%
4. Warlock - 102.5%*
5. Paladin - 88.4%*
6. Shaman - 88.2%*
7. Mage - 87.3%*
8. Warrior - 85.0%*
9. Hunter - 50.2%

5v5
1. Priest - 154.5%
2. Shaman - 138.6%
3. Paladin - 137.6%
4. Warlock - 102.5%*
5. Druid - 92.0%*
6. Mage - 87.3%*
7. Warrior - 85.0%*
8. Rogue - 82.4%
9. Hunter - 50.2%

Conclusion, hunters suck lol.

I find it hard to believe warriors arent higher up there.... such easy mode with any healer.

You know what pisses me off about Arena? Whatever 2v2 combo you make, you go against your counter the most. I played Priest / Warlock and went against Rogue teams non stop. Started doing Priest / Rogue and we went against Warrior / Druid a good 10 times in a row.

Tonight Im gonna try and get my 2v2 up above 1700, never had a 2v2 in the 1700s... only my 3v3 Rouge, Mage, Priest (RMP) doing the CC warrior, Fear / CS healer, and blow up squishy DPS in the first 30seconds strat.

Druid / Hunter teams are great. Viper sting the healer at all times. If they go for you, just try to Kite them as best as you can, and have the Druid CC the DPS as much as he can so you can get some range. Basically you just try to OOM them here.

If they go for Druid, and its not like a Rogue/Mage, GG as you are popping off free aimed shots while Druid should still be fine.

Also: BM hunters best 1v1? No way!
Priest: Pain Suppression through Beast Within
Mage: Ice Block
Rogue: Vanish
Pally: Bubble

Same thing as a PoM pyro mage. Negate that first burst and its pretty easy from there on out.

I started with a Human Warrior and Thought I was the crap until i saw others play a warrior-I suck as a warrior LOL

I have a holy priest that I like to play, as weird as it may sound I like being able to actually help others with stuff, like keeping them alive and so forth.

I also have played a shaman and I like the totems, but overall Shamans are just a melting pot of a few classes which isnt fun after awhile.

I absolutely love the warrior class. I've played one since Nov 2004 and now I have 2 warrior mains, one a Tauren main tank of a small guild, and the second a Human Warrior for PVP/DPS. I can remember when WoW first came out, warriors were the red-headed step children and no one wanted to play them because they couldn't heal like the paladin or how much they would miss when they tried to dual wield. Now it seems like everyone and their mother has jumped on the warrior bandwagon and I think there are more of us than rogues now. My second favorite is the rogue, then shadow priest, and I'm dying to try out the Death Knight!

The badge system is a double edged sword. For some classes the pieces in it are best in slot (or damn near). I think it should be good, but not so good that people can completely skip raiding.

Skipping raiding SHOULD BE perfectly viable.

well... badge gear kills the feeling of accomplishment and reward system to those that put in the time and effort to raid....

wow went carebear after TBC

How does something that someone else did that is completely unrelated to you diminish what it is you have accomplished?

Unless you are an attention whore, play the game for you, stop worrying about what other people have.

Badge gear is nice... but T6 is quite a step-up...

And if by raiding you mean Kara you might as well just give up now unless you hit 70 2days ago ;).

read my post again. theres very little reward for ppl that put the time and effort to raid.

I have a shaman with 7 pieces of t6 and i would never use all of them because there is badge gear that is better. it really is mind boggling. shard of contempt is the 2nd or 3rd best melee trinket for most classes... and it drops off a 5 man... weapons? s3 and s4 is better than BT stuff... i just want fair rewards.

heres a sneak peak at t7:

Raiding gear is significantly better than any badge gear and it's not really close. Please tell me of all this badge gear you are using over T6? I'd love to see it. Plus, the first 5 pieces of T6 aren't even the best raid gear anymore. Sorry, you may be using badge gear for some spots like trinkets or places where you don't have the best in your slot but badge gear still isn't anywhere close to the best gear in the game for PvE.

For reference, here's our guild enhancement shaman. This is his offspec btw (normally resto) which we're using for m'uru. He also has hundreds of badges and only non raid gear he uses is badge gloves and heroic magister's trinket. His gear isn't even very good by sunwell standard (pretty bad actually).

So.... your guildie has the right idea... but could improve in some slots by using welfare epics.

Unfortunately, you see tons of enhance shamans in full T6 like idiots.

Now lets compare:
DPS contribution from gear in full T6: 453.91
DPS contribution from gear in full welfare epics: 458.9

Raiding gear is significantly better than any badge gear and it's not really close.
So I'd like to say that yes, badge gear IS just as good as raiding gear...

p.s. tell your guildie he has nice offspec loot!! 3 pieces of sunwell offspec loot ... not bad!

Sunwell destroyed the game for me too. How many months for 6 bosses, instance was boring and for that many months not well thought out.

Wow hooligan nice going to step to the plate, I've said it for a while and alot of people just want to believe what they always want to believe "pvp gear is for pvp, and pve gear is for pve"

Its not always the truth for most classes, I play an ehancement shmn, the shard of contempt is the number 1 trinket for shmn's and possible most melee dps classes too (to be honest it is semi difficult to get).

Our gear from PVP is on par or better then most of our raiding gear for raiding, its also our pvp gear so our only offspec we need to loot is for healing, not raiding/pvp.

I'm also dual weilding dragonstrikes right now, I must say I like having it for offhand alot better then vanir's badge reward h2h weapon.
