^^^ Awesome shots. My attempts were unsuccessful due to cloud coverage. What focal length did you guys use?

    My eclipse totality shot.

Nothing fantastic but at least I was able to capture something. I was in the middle of nowhere WY and grabbed this with my D610 and 200-500mm f/5.6 lens. Made a bunch of mistakes. NO PLANNING being the most critical mistake.

I edited the mountain some to "unpolarize" it., and warmed the whole thing up a bit to better reflect the late afternoon time frame.

Love how you incorporate the fence into the composition. Great shot.

Thanks man. The fence was really in my way so I just incorporated it the best I could.

No need really. That place is actually a park and it seems only a tiny section is off limits. No biggie.

It was a RAW image which I tweaked to get a wider dynamic range.

Why is that water so funny? Some sort of flora? Pops out very nicely considering the lack of direct sunlight.

Not having any knowledge of the lake when I arrived, I did research afterwards and found that in the summer the lake gets a good amount of algae. Apparently the city has been trying to find a way to combat this, but has been unsuccessful so far.
