If it was released in this state, it makes me wonder what the show stopping bug(s) was that caused them to shelf it for the past couple weeks :\
LOL... I was thinking the same thing.

We're more that a few years away. 3DMark only has to create graphics, while actual games have a lot more that go into it. Futurmark doesn't have to code A.I., physics, and all the other small things that go into an engine that limits how hard you can push graphics and still get acceptable performance. When will PC games have graphics like this? What do you guys think?
comparing these two results, sounds like Crossfire isn't really working very well either.
cool story bro?SLI and Crossfire are an enormous waste of money, heat, energy, etc. Until 2 cards = 95% of each card's potential x 2, it's wasteful and pointless.
SLI and Crossfire are an enormous waste of money, heat, energy, etc. Until 2 cards = 95% of each card's potential x 2, it's wasteful and pointless.
cool story bro?
hahahaha
Unbelievable.
By the sound of it, about 75% of the users here are reporting it's running incorrectly.
Ya I run Crossfire and I can tell you right now that it isn't a waste of any of those things.
Sure I am not doubling my performance by running two cards, but you can not get this performance with only one card so![]()
You're 100% correct. SLI systems do not generate extra heat, noise, or cost any more than a single-card solution.
I'm getting 40+ fps with everything maxed in MW2 in 2560x1440 on a single (mid-range) card solution, Radeon 6870.
I'm not picking on you in particular but this forum is thick with people who make really terrible hardware decisions and spend way too much money. People with $1000+ in graphics cards in a computer with 2 year old AMD processors and shitty $180 TN monitors. It's quite unbelievable to me.
soooooooo... 3dmark 2011 is pretty cool eh?
