drummers unite!!

nice place. drums, guitar, chess, and computer. i feel at home already.... :D (no, im not a chess geek. i just learned how to play a month ago and i love the game :p )

thanks! thats my bass over there. My brother plays the drums and he got me into them then I went over to bass (always wanted to) so I still have his drums here. Chess is fun, stimulating and all those good things (no, im not a chess geek either ;))

it is saitek, not saltek that is te saitek eclipse - you can get them on amazon.com for $45.

im a drummer by heart, but ive also been gettin in bass. im not too bad at tabs. couldnt read music to save my life though :p

The reason i did it was that i got tired of my friends asking how to freaking move on games so it was an easy solution just tell them the white keys are basic press them :)

Its not saLtek its Saitek with an i they make nice keyboards and joysticks

here is my workstation, although very little work gets done here.

left monitor = dell 2405fpw (even more amazing than i expected). that is my gaming rig and my HTPC built in one.

right monitor = samsung 193p. that is a laptop that i obtained for free after someone smashed the screen in and it was going to cost $300 to replace. i removed the screen and just slapped it onto that monitor. all it does is grab RSS feeds for azureus and feeds them to my other compy.

funyuns are delicous

the desk is AMAZING. it just put it together this week. it was my college graduation present. more info is here.

and i'm afraid the only mods on anything around that table is that 5ft tall computer sitting under there. its full of like 60 5$ ghetto mods. oh and removing the laptop screen was quite the adventure. taking things apart, putting them back together and holding like 50 extra screws in your hand is always exciting.
 
Finally got the TV on the wall.. Gotta take care of those drooping wires with some office wire hiding thing.

Get wall paper which is a repeated image of those wires going up the wall... wire camouflage :D

Cant go thru the wall... there is all that installation stuff in the wall so the wires wont get that far down... im gonna have to get a wire tube.
 
First post of my workstation in this thread. Took the monitor home with me from work yesterday, otherwise it would have been taken outside with the trash, the keyboard would as well. :) Pretty nice for a place that's not been cleaned up for 2 and a half months.

Get some flat wires, then paint them the same color as your wall. Job done.

Revnant, is it really that bright in your room or is that just your F-Stop? I ask because what else would be your main source of light if you want to see something in natural light in the dark. But I likes!

i like laptop keyboards, desktop keyboards feel wierd to me now because i had to go about 4 months with nothing but my laptop, so i figured instead of getting used to desktop keyboard again, i gave my logitech cordless keyboard/mouse to my sister and bought a mx-1000 and that keyboard

If I'm not mistaken that's your Project-Time Machine. I love that Idea, but I did have a question. Will all of the computers be running Windows XP?
