Bummer. Is that the case with Nvidia's implementation in the 6xx series as well?
I'll be satisfied to have the setup for general purpose use...but it would be so sweet if it was supported for gaming as well.
I'm ready to upgrade my LCD and video card setup and I'm considering a 20/30/20 setup for surround gaming. I'm interested in this for driving games (Dirt) where the bezel configuration would be more natural than a 24x3 (24/24/24) setup for example.
I've always thought this would be...
I just built a system around this case with the following:
Asus P6t
Core i7 920
Corsiar 3x2GB
Sapphire 4870 1GB
OCZ Gamestream 850W
Gotta say that while there are some definite areas for improvement, on the whole, the case is great and fits my requirements and goals perfectly. I've...
Back in the good ol days of space heaters.
Setup as of last year
Does this count as an LCD setup :) 94" LCD Projection next to a dell 2001fp.
I'll get a pic of my current triple LCD setup later.
I'm finally going to pull the trigger on purchasing a Dell 3008wfp. I can't reach the old contact Lisa listed in the forums from earlier this year.
Anyone have a rep that will hook me up for this monitor?
I have an HS51 which is rated at 6000:1 contrast ratio and is what I deem just about right for a good projector experience. Anything below that would SUCK! 1000:1 (while great for bright colorful games such as Oblivion) would be a joke if wanted to play a dark game like Doom or Condenmed as...
A little late to the party but here's my setup.
92" main screen projected by a Sony HS51 at 720p resolution
and a Dell 2001FP
I have another 2x Dell 2001FP in my office but I am awaiting the 2407 to come out.
I'm trying to create a new setup with a 2407 and 2x 1907's in portrait along side the 24" monitor. This configuration would be perfect for coding without the exhorbant expense of the 30" screen. It would also be great to see multiple computers with these monitors...something a single 30"...
I found this deal on Crutchfield:
Anyone think I can do better buy getting one of the BM stores (Walmart, Target, Bestbuy) to PM this deal? Which retailer would even bother price matching this deal?
Thanks.
IMO..gaming or not... it is really irrelevant.
Buy a P4 or A64 based on other criteria. When playing games at a realistic resolutions, you won't see more than a 3-5% difference in frame rates if that. No one plays at 1024x768 these days...and if you do, it's a waste of a good computer.
Does anyone know if the P4 630 64bit functionality will work with a 865P chipset? I'm planning to upgrade my board to an Asus P5P800 with 630 chip. If it doesn't, I would probably be better served by a 5xxJ chip.
I have for sale a triplehead monitor setup. I have 3 matched Sony trinitron flat CRT monitors. 1x Sony 500PS 21" and 2x Sony 420GS 19" monitors. These monitors are all MINT, in perfect focus, and have excellent brightness. As perfect as when I got them new. Paid over $1800 for this setup...
