Couldnt' agree more. There a fair amount of servers that have great followings with Admins/Mods that keep things fun and enjoyable.
The only difficult part is finding these.
Nowadays, cdroms/burners are fast enough where it doesn't affect performance other then copying or installing things from them.
IMHO cd drives should be the last thing you're concerned about regarding gaming performance.
Happened last night playing Halflife 2........
Was in Ravenholm and came across the huge blade with a motor attached to it that you can start manually. Walked right up to it thinking "that looks like a HUGE mower blade, wonder if I can spin it...."
Of course the Steam servers are getting hammered. Theres a couple of million people all trying to do the same thing as you as at the same time. Valve even opened up more bandwidth specifically for this issue.
Now if you did what I did I let my computer run steam over night and when I woke up...
Do you have steam installed?
If you have been keeping up on the multiple preloading stages you should be able to play HL2 within like 30mins or so of ordering considering you have a broadband connection.
If you have not been keeping up on the preloading stages, you're in for like a 1.5 gig...
Here are coulple of quick tells that are common in players that are reltively new to poker.
If the player looks disinterested in his/her hand after betting/raising usually means they have a very good hand.
If the player immediatly grabs his/her chips when someone bets/raises them, is usually...
Partypoker.com has players that are just starting to learn the game and will play a pretty loose style chasing flush/straight draws all day long. You can make a killing if you play your cards right.

Cruised around the net a bit and did some digging, found out bidirectional printing was the main culprit. Just turned that feature off and everything is back to normal.

I hate to ask such a dumb question but here goes...:o
If I want to get cable internet through Comcast and I'm already a Comcast customer (cable TV), do I really need a technician to come out to do an install for the internet?
Couldn't I just run a cable from my already exisiting coax...
I have installed the latest driver for the printer from the HP website.
One thing to note, AutoCad 2004 is installed on it. I'm not sure if this is going to make a difference. The computers are running Windows 2000 SP4 with all the latest security patches.
I have not tried removing the printer...
At work all of our printers are on the network so we can print to any printer in the building.
The printer we have for our engineers is an HP 8150 and we are having a problem with only 2 of our engineers that use it (there are 12 that use it total).
Both users will send a job to the printer...

The company is still very solulable and will turn a profit by the end of calendar year.
They still have a higher then industry averge current PE ratio. And they're capital spending is way up for the...
One of the scariest parts for me is when I see a zombie crouching over one of those fat zombies eating him. So I creep up on him and put a full shotgun round in him and figured I was done and began to walk past the fat zombie on the floor.
Well that damn fat zombie stood up and scared the...
