Anyone have any suggestions? Not looking for something uber-quality, just semi-good quality. The only ones I could find on newegg were over $800 :/ I was hoping for something a bit cheaper.
 
I'd tout the Dell FP2001 too like the above two guys, except that at regular price, the monitor's over $800.

That's how much you should expect to pay for an LCD with a resolution of 1600x1200 (native resolution). Interpolation is not exactly something you want as most other monitors have a 1280x1024 native.
 
You're not going to get a good 1600x1200 LCD for less than 800 (750 when the 2001fp is on sale). That is, unless you get a great deal on a used one or something...

very true but watch out for backlighting... if you never thought of backlighting as an issue with a screen just pick up a 2001fp. You'll see what I mean.
