As others have recognized, it's not a perfect world. For 70% of Americans who have broadband access it is easy to switch providers, and of the other 30% I'm sure that some of them don't have many options. The people out in the rural areas usually have only two providers (modem & satellite) and I...
The government has no credibility on remaining neutral - they are already censoring gambling.
When the government starts censoring, since all their powers have proven to be a slippery slope, we all know that there will be nothing that can be done. The TSA's response that nothing can be done to...
Be careful what you wish for with Network Neutrality, it might have good intentions, but ultimately turn into something some of us could not imagine and can't undo. (ie. TSA)

Just want to give an update for anyone experiencing this problem. In my case, disabling Catalyst AI doesn't prevent the cursor from getting corrupted, but it does happen less frequently AND it eventually goes away without having to reboot.
I'm (sort of) glad that it isn't just isolated to me. For those of you who do want to try, I've compiled a list of possible workarounds:
Enabling/disabiling shadows for mouse
Enabling mouse trails (some games' cursor won't have an in-game cursor, ie. Team Fortress 2)
Disable Catalyst AI (have...
I'm posting here to get some help with a problem that I think is driver related. (Posted to AMD forums but the mods deleted it for some reason.) I've found various other people who have experienced this, and it seems to only occur on Radeons...
Title pretty much says it all... the studs for the RAM screws don't line-up with the holes on the card. The card's core says it is R430, and Arctic Cooling's guide indicates that it should work:

What should I do?
I know that's HTML... just using that as a reference for what I want to do in CSS. How is something similar done in CSS? Or what is the technique for refreshing content in a block when clicking a link in another block?
To further elaborate, I'm trying to find out what the equivalent of having a link clicked in one frame open content in another frame by specifying a target.
I've got through the tutorials here:

But he never covers how the navigation updates the main section. Could someone point me to a tutorial? TY!
Just did a computer overhaul and this is left. It is in excellent, almost new condition, except for the normal wear & tear of sliding drives out of their slots and screw pressure. The only outside case damage I see is a faint scratch on the right panel. (Tried taking a picture but it doesn't...
Just received my Cube case and it is slightly different than the modification template I was going to use. As you can see from the pictures, the rear exhaust holes are square rather than circular, which will make it difficult to have a nice result using the typical circular fan grills. One...
Ordering up my parts for my YY Cube... only two things I'm missing are:
Smoke-tinted Rectangle Window Kit seen here (Guessing 12" high by 8" wide)
and
60mm Fan Duct
The smallest parts FrozenCPU has are a 12"x12" window and 80mm Fan Duct...
My vote will have to go with EPIC/Unreal series. Unreal/Unreal Tournament/Unreal Tournament 2004 easily have taken up more of my time than any of the other series combined. Not to mention that EPIC has been great when it comes to actually listening to the fans. *COUGH* NO-CD CHECK PATCH *COUGH*
Vivendi Universal S.A. is the top of the food chain:

Just a thought, Valve is to blame for all this since Vivendi opposed Steam.
If you see two processor graphs that means Windows XP Pro was configured for a multi-processor system and there's nothing wrong with it. Your bios probably has hyperthreading disabled.
Up and running at 12x200 @1.55v using the same exact method Penguincomp did. (Illustrated so nicely a few posts before me) Catch is that the black Asus heatsink for the Northbridge is getting scalding hot! Anyone have some elegant solutions to keep it cool?
