It is someone who checked out as a "guest". eBay now allows you to buy things without an actual account. The username is your real name with a random number after it.
I have had a number of buyers like this, and so far I have not had any real issues with them.
Have you considered the Quadra versions? The Quadra FX2000 is a 5800, and the FX3000/4000 are just under and over 5900s. They can be found quite reasonably on eBay.
I tried PMing you on these, but I have seen no reply. If you see this, can you check your messages?
Can you PM me some photos of this? I am interested.
Ah, you are right.. I didnt proof read it after I made my last edit. I am not interested in any more Pentiums 2 or Slot 1 Pentium 3's. I have a couple of each now. P4s have never been very interesting to me, even when they were new. The dual Socket 370 Tualatin sounds interesting. Can...
I am interested in the nforce board, video card, and possibly the sound blaster (depending on what it is). PM me some details, and we can work it out :)
I have a Lapdock, but I need to double check which model it is. I am fairly sure it is the Droid Bionic version (which just has a different spacing/orientation of the connectors specific for that phone)

Hmm. I know I have an Athlon XP, but I am not sure what speed it is. Let me get back to you on that one. Do you have any other parts?
I also updated my original post to reflect some recent finds/buys.
That would be great! I have no problem with that rate :) There is no generic electronic recycling near me for some reason.. I would have to go quite a distance to find one.
Sounds good, PM me whatever you end up finding!
Hmm, that sounds like an interesting card. PM me any details...
At this point, I am all good with PCI sound cards unless they are really uncommon. I have a couple of Live and Audigy cards as well as a couple of other Yamaha and ESS cards. I am still looking for ISA sound cards.
I did respond to you, twice in fact.
I am going to ask you one more time. Please just move along, I am not interested in the items that you have available.
I have amended my list slightly to be more specific when it comes to optical drives.
But for the record, just because you think your items are on my list, does not instantly mean I must buy them. Also, being so pushy in my thread is not going to make me buy items from you. Please just take the...
Just because it is on my very broad list of interests, does not mean that I am going to pay for every single floppy drive and CDROM drive made available to me. Sorry, but your generic CD drive and PCI NIC are simply not interesting to me.
A lot of older games and apps are pretty dependent on the lower clock speeds and specific hardware which is no longer compatible with modern machines.
Sure, there is DOSBox, but that takes a lot of tinkering for each specific application to get them to work correctly. That also does not...
:( Thats why I started this thread, to try to rescue some stuff before it ends up tossed in the trash. Thanks for looking however!
I took a look, I didnt really see anything of interest within my requirements. Thanks!
Oh, Ive been to every thrift store within 50 miles of here.. and none of them have anything computer related. I have asked them, and they all have policies to "dispose" of it all since it does not sell.
I am looking to buy some old computer hardware, as I have been introducing my kids to games that I played when I was their age. I am interested in anything PC based up to Pentium 3 era. I have a good number of P3 bits already, but if some less than common or very high end for the time parts...
While yes, the CRS does have routing capabilities, it is all done in software. It has hardware based packet forwarding/switching, but no hardware based routing. As such, it would not handle any appreciable amount of traffic in NAT or QOS. It does however excel at switching.
Thats not a bad...
Ive been using the MikroTik for a bit now, and I am very happy with it. I havent tried to max out all of the ports, but it is more than capable of handling all of the traffic i have put through it. I regularly get 4gbps+ throughputs to my NAS, which I expect is being limited by protocol...
Monoprice used to have 35 foot jumpers.. I have bought them before..

How many of those 1.9 million more consoles that the Xbox 360 has sold, are replacement units for RROD boxes?
Considering the alarming failure rate of the Xbox 360 and the fact that the original did not have HDMI so many people re-bought the console because of either of those facts are a good...
