I would really doubt that the devices you have would be too much for a 430 watt, and the antec is a good PSU. I run a lot more components off my antect 350 watt without issue :) Did these problems start happening soon after you moved the components to the new case?

My gut feeling would be that your power supply is dieing, possibly overheating then not supplying enough current for your drives/video card, but that wouldn't explain the IDE cable thing. What power supply do you have?
