I'm using 3 HDDs (2 in cage and one in front mount) with SF450. If you are going with 2 drives only it is better to split them, but if using 3 is doable.
I have both LP53 and L9i and don't think that diff is significant enough to justify buying LP53 because if you event don't own either currently buying LP53 means you need to buy extra fan .... LP53 has horrible mounting (I have bent my MBO - not paying attention) and rest of the cooler is just...
here you go. not the pest pics but if you want I can upload more once I finalize my build. Will delid CPU and make final decision on cooler tomorrow (either stock L9i or LP53 with L9i fan). Hoping to also get 4.5GHz OC since it can be done on stock voltage...
I'll just address first one: nonK 7700 has 600Mhz lover base frequency and 300MHz lower boost frequency so apart from numbers in their model names there is nothing else to comparable there. Intel marketing at full tilt. You can cool 90W CPU with L9i so this case has no issue with 90W CPUs. Only...
Now everyone will buy Silverstone same as they did with C7 :)
I'll just say this ... L9i can keep 6700K stock from overheating while running torture tests - I ran the x264 encoding test with 16 threads for 6h - can be found on OCN and easily reproduced.
I will do the same test for L9i with...
while you idea is noble .... please do think about it the other way .... what would you think if project from US shipping EU parcels 2 weeks before starting distribution for US? doesn't seem right does it?
I have LP53, L9i and extra Noctua 92mm fan 25mm thick so I will test LP53 with 15mm Noctua, L9i stock and L9i with 25mm fan once I get my case. I'm running 6700K
dondan, maybe you should drop the line once you do the batch of shipments since some are getting restless :)))
would be something like progress bar for us.
and everyone else should just keep calm. there is no need to be buthurt over the fact that there were some delays .... one man band did...
here is A4-SFX being made :)
such a coincidence to actually find this :))))
EDIT: OMFG there are so many points in the video where you can actually see A4 ....
that Asus wins on size. it is only 8mm thick and weighs only 800 gram :)
keep in mind that not every usb-c port will work. needs to support displayport over type-c ....
hmmm. 7mm in front bay?
specs on web say differently ...
Hard Disk Drives
Note: With SFX-L you are limited to one drive in the drive bay
2x 2,5" HDD/SSD in drive bay
Bottom drive: max. height 15mm
Top drive: max. height 15mm
1 x 2.5" HDD/SSD in front-area
Max. height 9mm
I have 3x Samsung M9T 1.75TB ready :)
Still waiting on M.2 situation to develop a bit more because Samsung being only one on market with m.2 NVME device is not doing us any favors price wise. (Toshiba/OCZ have done shit job on pricing as well, waiting to see how Phison e7 drives do ...)
I own Silverstone SFX-L 500W and can not recommend it to anyone. I will be buying Corsair's 450W and selling Silverstone (hope I can get 50% of what I paid for it - 80eur)
what a bunch of plebs. you could actually see that they had no idea what they were talking about. "barely fits" .... THAT IS THE FUCKING POINT
Ncase failed ....
was just waiting they mention Prodigy ...
One thing I would recommend to anyone looking for sff psu is to avoid sx500-lg from Silverstone. This is last cent they got form me. Love how they are claiming that everything is fine with it but I must be going crazy - I hear galloping sounds coming from it. Only reason to have SFX-L is...
Since base of the case is same for both colors, it would be grate if we were offered 3 options:
1. black
2. silver
3. black+silver (all panels in both black and silver, only one base)
