he's actually not an nvidia troll just a retard
he hates all "sinks" equally without even beginning to comprehend anything about what he hates. He complains in any thread where GSync or FreeSync are mentioned, and apparently also in threads where Asynchronous rendering is mentioned too.
Yeah you start to get SERIOUSLY diminished XP at around 12-13 levels above the map and the new system basically requires a big playgroup to sustain maps above 75 which I dislike
"AMOLED" just means "OLED with a decent amount of pixels", so it's not that per se.
the thing is, cell phone screens often use a piece of "technology" called PenTile which cheats on pixels by having a really weird subpixel structure (not at all like LCD's RGB subpixels but a more customized...
I mean, VR has the unfair disadvantage of having to handle each eye separately (much like active 3d glasses alternating frames etc etc) so it IS pushing 2160x1200 pixels which is a very respectable fraction of 1440p, especially @90hz and considering it's the only OLED PC display under 55", I...
"This headset works with 2160 x 1200 resolution - that's one resolution over two OLED displays"
translation: 1200x1080 is the resolution that your eye sees. 1440p is 2560x1440. not even in the same neighborhood.
lmfao "OLED IPS"
ahahahahha
*ahem* sorry
IPS is a LCD panel technology, where there is a backlight and each pixel is simply a gate, allowing various amounts of light through.
OLED panel technology is where each pixel is it's own light emitting diode, rather than a simple gate.
Can't say I agree on 40+ inch, but you are spot on about 1080p is pretty much an insult at this stage even in an "ultrawide" 21:9 configuration.
I do like that they at least considered refreshrates north of 144hz though, as 200hz sounds fantastic for ULMB purposes.
Wat?
How it actually works for this tournament:
The team with "choice" may either choose whether to be first pick or second, or else to pick a side. The other team then makes the remaining choice.
In this instance, CDEC had "choice" for the first game as the upper bracket team, then it...
if you are over 6k then sure I have no advice for you
6.9k mmr would be roughly top 0.001% of players, you are by far the outlier lol. Nobody else here complaining about bad teammates is in a remotely comparable situation to you.
It's not that hard to figure out what makes you mad about dota and simply remove it from the experience.
Teammates who don't speak english? Stack with friends who speak english.
Losing too much? get fucking better, nobody's holding you back but you and there's an unreal amount of resources...
There are i believe 2 nodes that grant +2 mana on hit (which is very small but with stuff like split arrow + chain can resolve your mana issues pretty comprehensively). You can use the search function on the passive tree page on the main site
I think you can roll it on jewels as well? again...
With respect to attackspeed
first, the armor calculation only applies to physical damage and many builds do at least half if not more elemental damage. Even pure phys builds usually have hatred and maybe added fire damage that ends up adding about as much elemental damage as they do physical...
I mean, your statement makes exactly 0 sense. For GGG to "set out" to make a hard boss they have to consider the balance and make the boss hard in the framework of the game's balance. Without a balance framework, the term "hard" is 100% meaningless.
I will say that malachai felt a tad...
Interesting
I'm now at 6.1K HP and getting more interested in trying although my DPS hasn't really risen much. I feel like i'd want more armour though, with only 4k until I pop a granite. I haven't run the trio yet, mostly cuz i'm scared shitless of piety and her death laser
Has anybody tried malachi on merciless?
I kinda want to do it at some point but my level 75 dual-flame-totemer doesn't feel strong enough yet. 5.8k hp and 7.5kdps per totem does pretty well in low maps though.
(Tempest)
As usual, your best defence against getting 1 shot is still life/es total, not armor or evasion.
That said, Evasion was basically OP last patch (arrow dodging made you projectile immune, acrobatics + phase acrobatics were enough additional mitigation that you only had to half-heartedly try...
Yeah that patch happened last night
good stuff good stuff although I wish they fixed the "boss heart never opens" bug before I ran into it, spent 20 minutes waiting for him to stop being invincible before giving up and spending another 15 minutes re-running the leadup zone to fight him again...
If you have above ~1.4k hp and decent lightning res then you should have enough HP to tank a normal a4 piety ray and still run through her other AoE balls to avoid a 2nd hit by the ray, which is enough to do the fight pretty much 100% safely. Ideally you don't ever get hit by the ray but...
Honestly, the correct statement isn't "once you hit (MMR) the flaming falls off" its "once you hit mute the flaming falls off"
thats my secret at least. works great.
Your ping will only go up if you join an instance created by them (since they create instances on their servers). I've successfully played PoE with people who have like 250 ping to me by simply agreeing beforehand to create all the instances myself and have them join. Now, yes they have 250...
You can't just unequip the weather effect?
I didn't have any issues with this
anyway, the game performs a lot better on weaker machines which is a plus. Obviously any half-decent rig can max everything but a lot of my friends are getting much higher framerates on higher settings than they...
After playing with it long enough I actually quite like ranked AP picking over unranked AP picking these days. It still has issues but given the choice I prefer the forced alternating picks etc.
I can't play SD, maybe cuz HoN SD spoiled me but dota's implementation makes me want to punch...
I mean nyx is a fine base model, better than a lot of melee heroes (Alchemist... BLECH). Don't forget his extra base regen :)
My most recent AD combo was Spin Web + Ion Shell. That lane went well :)
Wow long time since last bump
1.4 AKA 2.0 info out today. It includes act 4, a ton of new stuff etc. However, the BIGGEST news is
Desync is 100% fixed

This is exactly what I've...
I just want to point out that 2 screens at 1200x1080 is NOT 2400x2160
it is 2400x1080 (or 1200x2160 whatever), exactly 25% more pixels than "standard" 1920x1080.
Yes, maintaining a very very constant 90fps at 25% more pixels than 1080p isn't necessarily easy for next-gen games etc, but...
VIP membership allows all 3 of your character slots to be passively trained, as opposed to the 1 slot that would be passively trained without it. There doesn't seem to be any other appreciable change to gameplay (forum badge who cares etc). Also priority access to servers, could be relevant at...
Try ToastyX's Custom Resolution Utility.
I used custom drivers and his CRU to get over the 400MHz cap on DVI on my 670 and while I'm aware that DVI is different from VGA, I'd assume that your best bet for getting it on VGA would be that tool or similar.
If nothing else you can contact him...
Exactly.
That said, ULMB + IPS is still going to be much much much better than just IPS. Presumably in a similar manner to the Eizo Foris VA panel with ULMB that was night-and-day compared to most VA's, though only 24inch 1080p.
4ms response time is of course marketing bullshit thats why. the vast majority of pixels do not complete full transition in 4ms or less.
also hi hyper :)
