Do what I did, see my pic :)
Without those fans the difference in temps on the card, SSD, motherboard, and chipset is massive
Better airflow than a single slim 180mm if there is even one that fits.
I only know of slim 140mm
Yes I tested the video card outside of the case via a long riser cable
There was no difference between it sitting horizontally as per normal, or vertically as in the FT02
I also cap the temps, and power limit with Afterburner, so I can keep the fan speed slow and whisper quiet, with minimal...
Most of the RTX 4070 should work fine as they are not high end cards with Vapor chambers.
For the RTX 4070 TI, I know for sure my MSI Gaming X trio works fine. I also undervolt and power limit it in Afterburner to keep the fans running under 1200rpm, so it's whisper quiet and stays under 65c...
I currently have a DVD-R drive, floppy disk drive, Silverstone dual USB3 bay that routes the rear ports to the front via 2 cables, and combo charger/USB2/3/C bay device
If it's not in your PC it'll be floating around on your desk or floor
yeah, just experiment a bit with it
first you just need to match the fans to controllers and senors upon set up.
Then find the start up and shut down RPM for each fan, there is an option to do that for all the fans in the program
Then just set a temp, and use a linear curve, and put in a fan...
Use the software called Fan Control - it's free.
Can set fans manually, by temps etc, many options
here is my fan control setup for my FT02.
My system is Inaudible even when under full load on all 16 cores of my 5950x from 1m away even late at night
So I saw the case listed on Scorptec here in Australia, for an eye watering $1489 AUD....
I can afford it, but if I spent that money, It would be smarter to sell my RTX 4070 TI and get a RTX 4090 with that cash :)
But the RTX 4090 wouldn't fit in my FT02 so..... :p
Gamer's Nexus will be doing...
here are some of my findings I posted for my FT02
----
I received my Lian Li O11 Evo Upright GPU Kit, and used the riser cable on my MSI RTX 3070 Gaming X trio
Did a test on my FT02, using a riser cable and have my RTX 3070 sitting outside, without any fans blowing on it.
There was no...
I replaced my MSI RTX 3070 Gaming X trio with a MSI RTX 4070 ti Gaming X Trio - not by choice, I actually wanted the PNY RTX 4070 ti XL8R model,
but it doesn't come with the Diablo 4 bundle, and with the Ebay Plus 22% off voucher code, along with some cash back offers, and the price was slashed...
They only used the stock 3 fans in their tests... :/
as far as thermals go, having air coming in equally from 3/4 sides is going to cause issues.
It would be better if the bottom intake was the dominant one, and dial the other fans way back
Also in the Hardware Cannucks video, it looks like...
Another CTE C750 Air review
I wonder if it's as big as Coolermaster HAF 700 Evo case I saw in person yesterday....l damn that's one big and thick case!

There is an online store here in Australia selling both the black and silver models of this case quite cheaply.
I guess they must be left over stock..... kinda tempted :)
Ok I see it on Amazon AU for a princely sum of $2,163.92 after delivery and import tax....

Are any units going to make it to Australia to be sold locally here?

Only modern case I know of right now for >two 5.25 inch bays and 6 hard drives included in the box.
Definitely an option to replace my FT02, to allow for larger GPUs, and not lose any functionality, but it's not quite as interesting in comparison...

PA120 has more fins and is taller than the PS120SE, which is similar to the PA120SE.
the SE models are budget versions.

Phantom Spirit 120
just got released - it measures 157mm, so it appears to have the same fin stack height as the PA120
All the PA120 models should be the same, but the SE models are different - shorter, less fins,
Now the new PS120, non SE, remains to be seen if it performs better than the PA120
I did a bench shootout between my PA120 (non SE) and a PS120SE, and the PA120 is a little better....
Same settings for both. With the Silent Wings 4 fan in the middle and T30 on the back.
Looking closer at the PS120SE, the base is bigger and the two outer heatpipes do not fully sit on the...

Nice to see Dust filters on every intake/exhaust - included
A pretty rare thing these days....
Keen to see 2x200mm Noctua fans front and back on this :)
But the cable I/O routing is so convoluted, nothing as simple as on my FT02....
There appears to be a new version of the O11 Evo, which has a modular front frame, that can be removed.
So like the upcoming O11 Evo XL
Started selling in Asia last week, but still no word of it in the West.....

The cases are out now
Mix of Fractal Torrent + FT02/Raven + O11 Dynamic and you get this :)
This thing can mount 2x200mm fans front and back
This might be the year of the upright GPU look
If you have GPU cooling issues in the FT02's vertical layout, try mounting the card upside down so the IO face downward...
This works for the O11 Dynamic EVO with the Upright GPU mounting kit.
Will need a riser cable.
I have actually ordered an O11 Dynamic EVO Upright GPU kit, that was on...
From what I have seen on the O11 Dynamic EVO's Upright GPU mount - cards like the Asus ones that have vapor chamber cooling problems with the vertical position, work great when the card is flipped around so the ports are facing downards, ie upside down....
So if you have a riser cable, try...
Just look at that image, chimney stack vertical airflow layout, along with a GPU layout that averts the vapour chamber cooling issues in some cards
Was waiting for the Lian Li O11 Evo XL with it's tasty upright GPU mount to replace my FT02, but now there is another choice :)...
Still using a FT-02 with a X570, 5950x with PA-120 cooler and RTX 3070, super quiet, but it's time to move on
Been researching lots of cases and from what I can see the BeQuiet Silent Base 802 with the included mesh front used, is the closest in spirit to the Ft-02 with the 10mm sound damping...
