Well,
While staying within budget, I found a Sceptre 19" widescreen on Newegg with DVI...
No reviews of that one, but Sceptre seems to get good reviews overall...
Hey guys,
So it's that time again and I'm gonna be building a new compy in the near future. I'm passing my venerable Samsung 712N LCD on to my younger bro, so I'm gonna be getting a new monitor. I'm keeping the cost of this rig around a thousand bucks, and the monitor is gonna be about 250 of...
I don't have hands on experience w/ it yet (I will in a few days though), but the MSI board has gotten consistently great reviews from reviewers and regular 'ole users also. It's got pretty much all the features the nForce3 250gb chipset has to offer, plus it looks like it's a good overclocker...
I don't have first hand experience with this, but from what I've heard, Samsung's product support = the best ever. I've been told or read about several occaisions relating to either of those monitors where Samsung has arranged to pick up and replace them, no matter what the defect.
It sounds...
Is there a noticable difference between using a DVI connection instead of the regular analog? If there is, how is it different and would it be worth the money to get one that does dvi (like the samsung 710T, which is the one I'm looking at)?

the msi k8n neo platinum is now on newegg for 147. all the reviews i've read for this board have been good. if you need a mobo now, I'd definitely look into this one.

I would suggest waiting a little while and allow the K8T800 Pro and nForce3 - 250 motherboards to become available (and by that I mean most, if not all of the major manufacturers have one in retail). Besides having the agp/pci lock, these boards appear to have more rich feature sets than their...
This is what makes the game fun to many of us. there are a seemingly infinite number of games in which you just run around and kill people. You actually have to use your brain and asses situations and formulate a plan of action instead of just running into a room and shooting the crap outta...
Well, I found a radio shack in my area that had a few, so I got one. the only problem is that the setup file on the driver disk is corrupted. the radio shack website doesn't have any drivers available to download, so does anyone have a copy of the setup file that they could send me?
-Brent
Are they all the same or should I wait for the local Radio Shack to get some in stock? And if there is a better/equivalent one, where can I acquire one?
