recently picked up a Z10PE-D8 motherboard, got it setup in my case and everything installed.

okay, here is my problem. my cable feed + modem is downstairs, i live upstairs in my house. i had a router downstairs and was doing a plain old 802.11g bridge into a switch upstairs. i was using ubiquiti hardware for that, and it was pretty reliable (mostly). i eventually upgraded everything...
ocz is apparently making a 1.1TB hybrid harddrive. what do y'all think? with ocz's current track record i can't say i will be first in line. :rolleyes:
i thought i had read a couple places (including the HCL) that the 2405 was supported in xen. i seem to be having issues loading it. i've tried some of the rpms on the adaptec site, but nothing seems to have helped. anybody used this combo before and could shed some insight? i'm using xenserver...
i see a lot of talk about compatibility with these drives, but nothing solid towards reliability. i'm going to be building a vm node soon and am restraining myself to 1U leaving me 4 3.5" bays. i have a sata backplane and want to get the most storage i can out of it. i am a big fan of the 2TB...
just want a thumbs up or thumbs down my selection, been doing some compatibility checks and reading around.. seems this will all go together, if i missed something please let me know.

looks pretty, seems nice, i've been looking (and waiting) for a dual socket motherboard that supports i7s..this seems to be my only option. unless i'm missing some? :confused:
