    Best way to get a multimonitor setup calibrated

    Does anyone here have experience getting a multiple monitor setup looking uniform? I'm not looking for exacts, but the difference can be somewhat annoying, especially in eyefinity.

    5770 3x monitors eyefinity use Displayport to DVI?

    That doesn't look like an active adapter. Too small, and no extra power. I'd avoid.

    Why is 16:9 popular

    Actually, it would cut off a very small amount of the sides, not the top/bottom, a small portion of the sides that is not used much if at all.

    LCD monitor with perfect pixel mapping

    My old Dell 2007fp has the same options, minus custom border color. Does the newer 2209WA really lose these functions?

    Spyder3Pro Question

    Thanks for the info. So ColorHCFR looks like you make the adjustments on the OSD, it just tells you what adjustments to make? That seems multi-dsiplay compatible for sure. Cannot tell if argyll is multidisplay capable or not, even in non-eyefinity.

    Spyder3Pro Question

    I'm looking for a way to calibrate my 3 monitors, and spyder3Pro seems to be the cheapest way to do that (If there is a cheaper one, please let me know, not sure I want to spend $140 on a calibrator.) However, I've heard that it is a mac only feature, is it true? Also, can separate...

    5570's in Crossfire - 4 Displays with Eyefinity?

    Don't think it would work in crossfire, but just having the 2 in the system should work. Crossfire disables the video out ports on one card iirc.

    DVI->DP active adapter, any issues?

    No, the VGA cable was different, it is the one from monoprice, though others have said that it has worked for them. My res is only 1600*1200 though, so hopefully the dell will work. I ended up buying it, was $60 shipped, was on ebay, so here's hoping it works. The guy said it worked for him...

    Going from 1920x1200 to 1920x1080

    Why would that matter? 1680*1050 has lower res than 1200p and 1080p. No, higher res > lower res. 1920*1200>1920*1080>1680*1050.

    DVI->DP active adapter, any issues?

    No, the VGA adapter was active. The guy says he's been using the dvi adapter for months for eyefinity, so hope he's telling the truth.

    DVI->DP active adapter, any issues?

    I can buy a Dell adapter real cheap. Anyone use this with issues? I tried the DP->VGA, and had nothing but flickering. Will buying this solve my issues hopefully?

    HP ZR27W?

    Anyone heard rumors about HP releasing a ZR27W with the Dell u2711 panel? Seems they've been doing a serious refresh, might that be included?

    I cant decide between the NEC EA231 / Dell U2401 and ZR24W

    I think you mean Dell U2410? I'd say HP ZR24W, but the Dell looks great as well

    Calibrate mulitple monitors, 1 computer

    Is there anything special in hardware/software needed to calibrate 2 panels on one graphics card? I have a Dell 2007 and an HP LP2065 (same panel) and I want to calibrate them to look as close as possible to each other. I'm looking at colormunki create right now, which I can get for $50 new...

    The newer Dell u2311H uses the same panel. I'd go with whatever you can find the cheapest of the two with warranty.

    Best 19" tft 4:3

    Portrait-Portrait(flipped) eyefinity?

    Wish I could, there was a link to an interview in some thread on wide screen gaming forum. Couldn't even tell you the subject of the thread, it's been too long. Your welcome to do your own searching there if you want. The quote was something like a lot of AMD people use PLP setups themselves...

    Portrait-Portrait(flipped) eyefinity?

    Thanks, I'll fill it out. I have a feeling this will be fixed soon-ish, more as a side effect of their promises to fix PLP set ups. Think this is the same problem. And once I get a 3rd monitor, I'll be getting a tripple mount, so no longer a problem then. Just hoping it would stop being a...

    Portrait-Portrait(flipped) eyefinity?

    Ok, so I got 2 20" 1600*1200 monitors, an HP LP2065, and a Dell 2007FPb. Tried playing with eyefinity (for rts, which is nice to have the extra space, and middle screen is less important) and it works great in landscape. Problem is, I want to try portrait. Unfortunately, when my HP...

    Dell 3009wfp or U3010

    3840x2400 would be awesome, and scale perfectly to 1920*1200 (close enough to 1920*1080). Would be a very nice one, but at a ridiculous price.

    The fix for eyefinity screen blackout issues

    I have a non-reference 5850. How would I get this to work? I assume I need to get my bios off my card and edit it somehow before flashing? How would I edit it? Or is there a bios out there for my card? I have this model, with the MSI lightning bios on it.

    VGA-DP, stop the flickering!

    I see, I'm on 10.4, so I'll go back to 10.3b. Never downloaded it, anyone know where I can find it? Is there a place that keeps old drivers? I could also try 10.5, thanks for the tips. And no CF, so all on the same card

    VGA-DP, stop the flickering!

    update: Tried enabling crossfire, and it gave me a display link error or something. I'm thinking I'll be returning this, and getting dvi adapter if this can't be solved soon Googling gave me a ton of "My problem magically fixed itself, no clue how" responses, my problem isn't magically fixing...

    VGA-DP, stop the flickering!

    I just got the VGA-DP adapter off monoprice. Every 30 seconds to a minute, my screen loses signal. Any way to stop it? I only am using a 1600*1200 screen, which is between 1680*1050 and 1920*1080, so I wouldn't think that's the problem. What do I need to do? Tried on 2 monitors with the...

    Need to order (7) 19"- 23" LCD's that can rotate 90 degrees

    Ebay and 20" 1600*1200 monitors. They are ~$120 average. I bought 3 for $380 shipped. They are IPS, all rotate to portrait without having to screw/unscrew the mount. They even have built in USB hubs.

    I have 3*20" 1600*1200 lcds, so nothing huge. Anyone able to recommend me a good triple mount for cheap? I had the double one from this thread, but now I need a triple. The cputopia one any good? Only really need them off the desk, and pivot. Individual hight adjustment is nice, but I bet...

    Thinking about adding a 17" monitor to each side of my 23"

    1680X1050 22" TN's going to transition to DP or phase out?

    I'd go p22 and g22. That way, you get a quite nice stand, and no messing with adapters

    Dell 2001fp vs HP LP2065

    Two users (monitors) using the same desktop simultaneously

    the problem will be a mouse and keyboard. As far as I know, there is no way to have 2 mouses control 2 cursors, or whatever. Do it at different times should be no problem though.
