Does anyone here have experience getting a multiple monitor setup looking uniform? I'm not looking for exacts, but the difference can be somewhat annoying, especially in eyefinity.
Thanks for the info.
So ColorHCFR looks like you make the adjustments on the OSD, it just tells you what adjustments to make? That seems multi-dsiplay compatible for sure. Cannot tell if argyll is multidisplay capable or not, even in non-eyefinity.
I'm looking for a way to calibrate my 3 monitors, and spyder3Pro seems to be the cheapest way to do that (If there is a cheaper one, please let me know, not sure I want to spend $140 on a calibrator.) However, I've heard that it is a mac only feature, is it true?
Also, can separate...
No, the VGA cable was different, it is the one from monoprice, though others have said that it has worked for them. My res is only 1600*1200 though, so hopefully the dell will work. I ended up buying it, was $60 shipped, was on ebay, so here's hoping it works. The guy said it worked for him...
I can buy a Dell adapter real cheap. Anyone use this with issues? I tried the DP->VGA, and had nothing but flickering. Will buying this solve my issues hopefully?
Is there anything special in hardware/software needed to calibrate 2 panels on one graphics card? I have a Dell 2007 and an HP LP2065 (same panel) and I want to calibrate them to look as close as possible to each other. I'm looking at colormunki create right now, which I can get for $50 new...
Wish I could, there was a link to an interview in some thread on wide screen gaming forum. Couldn't even tell you the subject of the thread, it's been too long. Your welcome to do your own searching there if you want.
The quote was something like a lot of AMD people use PLP setups themselves...
Thanks, I'll fill it out. I have a feeling this will be fixed soon-ish, more as a side effect of their promises to fix PLP set ups. Think this is the same problem.
And once I get a 3rd monitor, I'll be getting a tripple mount, so no longer a problem then. Just hoping it would stop being a...
Ok, so I got 2 20" 1600*1200 monitors, an HP LP2065, and a Dell 2007FPb. Tried playing with eyefinity (for rts, which is nice to have the extra space, and middle screen is less important) and it works great in landscape.
Problem is, I want to try portrait. Unfortunately, when my HP...
I have a non-reference 5850. How would I get this to work? I assume I need to get my bios off my card and edit it somehow before flashing? How would I edit it? Or is there a bios out there for my card?
I have this model, with the MSI lightning bios on it.
I see, I'm on 10.4, so I'll go back to 10.3b. Never downloaded it, anyone know where I can find it? Is there a place that keeps old drivers?
I could also try 10.5, thanks for the tips. And no CF, so all on the same card
update: Tried enabling crossfire, and it gave me a display link error or something. I'm thinking I'll be returning this, and getting dvi adapter if this can't be solved soon
Googling gave me a ton of "My problem magically fixed itself, no clue how" responses, my problem isn't magically fixing...
I just got the VGA-DP adapter off monoprice. Every 30 seconds to a minute, my screen loses signal. Any way to stop it? I only am using a 1600*1200 screen, which is between 1680*1050 and 1920*1080, so I wouldn't think that's the problem.
What do I need to do?
Tried on 2 monitors with the...
Ebay and 20" 1600*1200 monitors. They are ~$120 average. I bought 3 for $380 shipped. They are IPS, all rotate to portrait without having to screw/unscrew the mount. They even have built in USB hubs.
I have 3*20" 1600*1200 lcds, so nothing huge. Anyone able to recommend me a good triple mount for cheap? I had the double one from this thread, but now I need a triple. The cputopia one any good?
Only really need them off the desk, and pivot. Individual hight adjustment is nice, but I bet...
I've ran a 17" as a secondary, is quite nice. Better than no secondary at least.
Just don't try portrait, looks horrible, at least on mine (TN unfortunatly)
the problem will be a mouse and keyboard. As far as I know, there is no way to have 2 mouses control 2 cursors, or whatever. Do it at different times should be no problem though.
