VGA-DP, stop the flickering!

I just got the VGA-DP adapter off monoprice. Every 30 seconds to a minute, my screen loses signal. Any way to stop it? I only am using a 1600*1200 screen, which is between 1680*1050 and 1920*1080, so I wouldn't think that's the problem.

What do I need to do?

Tried on 2 monitors with the same results (1 dell 2007FPb, and 1 HP LP2065). My 3rd isn't here yet to test.

update: Tried enabling crossfire, and it gave me a display link error or something. I'm thinking I'll be returning this, and getting dvi adapter if this can't be solved soon

Googling gave me a ton of "My problem magically fixed itself, no clue how" responses, my problem isn't magically fixing itself :(
 
Make sure you connect all screens to same card.

Don't use catalyst 10.4, but use 10.3b. This seems to have solved the problem for others with the same issue. 10.5 might be good (10.5 beta was good), but there is no reports yet if the problem exist in that driver set.
 
I see, I'm on 10.4, so I'll go back to 10.3b. Never downloaded it, anyone know where I can find it? Is there a place that keeps old drivers?

I could also try 10.5, thanks for the tips. And no CF, so all on the same card
 
Unplugging and plugging back in the DVI cable while the computer is on has magically fixed issues for me as Windows redetects the monitor before so might try that with the VGA cable/adapter.

Also if you are trying to downgrade to 10.3b you have to uninstall the current driver package or it doesn't actually downgrade.
 
Yep, uninstalled first. And unplugging-replugging doesn't fix my issue :(

Still got flickering. Even driversweeping and installing 10.3b did not help. Ugh
