Hm, I've blacklight bleeding in the upper right corner and lower left corner.
What's the best way to correct it? Should I even correct it or send it back? I can't see any dead pixels and it seems to clock very well.
So I ordered one, will take some days before I get it... but would be nice to be prepared!
A quick search on QNIX QX2710 profile didnt give me anything. So I was wondering, there is talk about profiles floating around and I'd appreciate help with finding the good ones if possible, thanks :-)
Nice =)
I think 96 Hz will be good enough but I guess I'll have to experiment a bit.
Thanks for the tip about dual link dvi cable, didn't think that would make a difference actually.
Hello!
So I'm reading a lot about screen OC of 1440p ips/pls screens to ~96-120Hz and it sounds very interesting.
I'm wondering about the side effects about overclocking the ips/pls... panels.
If I clock it up to ~100Hz will I get any blurry or other negative effects?
How does...
It was long since creative held any meaning. Bad drivers and quality.
Last time I bought a sound card was a couple of years ago, asus. I'm glad to be rid of my old creative and auzentech products.
One simply can not get the best of two worlds it would seam :/
I need to go look at screens but I'd want a higher resolution than 1080p and still good colors while having 120 Hz.. I guess 3 screens might be one answer.
Which is the best 120 Hz display?
What I'm looking for is the highest resolution with 120 Hz enabled along with a large display, 27-30", and good colors, preferably close to ips standards.
Does it exist?
If it's not for 3 screens, and if you only plan to use one card, then gtx 680 . If you plan to use 3 screens and / or two cards, then amd is the way to go I say because gtx 680 atm, does not scale well in several games, if that will change or not no one knows.
I have a hd 5970 that is working but I'd like better performance, however not much time for gaming right now anyway so I guess waiting is an option. Thou building up a new comp would be nice...
I have some concerns about gtx 680.
http://www.sweclockers.com/recension/15196-geforce-gtx-680-kepler-samt-sli/21#pagehead
For surround two cards are obviously needed for a good framerate.
But then, gtx 680 really is a bad choice since Amd 7970 in crossfire is significantly better than...
Something I am a bit disappointed about is the sli scaling, it's really horribly in some of the games. I wonder if drivers will fix that later on...?
I also heard rumors about a 4gb version of the gtx 680 coming in a month or so, that could be interesting.
=)
However, in bf3 surround...
Yeah, 1080p, really annoying, a lot of us do want a larger resolution...
nVidia only have 2 gb ram thou... really bad in surround..
Edit: Or not, nvidia and amd are just as good in surround according to...
So.. I need a new graphic card and I will probably overclock it, thus the final result is what counts. I do not care about physx, no game worth anything uses it. I care about performance. I care not if the brand is nvidia or amd...
I really find it strange that we have no 120Hz 2560x1440 / 2560x1600 screens then since the dp interface supports the needed bandwidth. Lots of people are interested in it.. and I want one!!.. or three.
"560 Ti 2Win card work"
I would not recommend it. Not that great gpu power and too little memmory on the cards for the resolution you want. Do not get a card with less than 2-3gb ram.
Bad link by me, I don't event want speakers.
DVI Dual link port, ok thanks.
that means there are no hd 7970 card that can run this in eyefinity with 3 of these screens then right? :/
If he wants this eyefinity setup with the 85Hz config for Amd or 100 Hz config for nvidia, how would he manage that? I dont think there are any adapters that can handle it or?
So, to clarify, which ports on a graphic card can be used with it?

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!
So... getting a catleap is what there is to try for today.
Can radeon hd 7970 be used with it and get up to 95 Hz?
Nothing positive otherwise in the future?
When will we see some real screens of value?
1080p feels really small, I dont want some silly 16:9 120Hz 1920x1080 screen.
I'm looking for 27-30" screens with good resolution, 2560x1600 or possibly if needed 2560x1440.
And I'm hoping for 120Hz.. with decent/ good colors.
Is this only...
It's not only the load, it's also the extra heat in the box that is bad. When the bad things adds up to too many bad things it's a no go.Nvidia usually are more hungry than 50W as well. It's btw more like 100W.
Yeah I will wait, but nvidia usually makes watt leaking card that does not feel that great to put into a computer.. however, they might put pressure on the prices as you say and they might surprise with a performance / watt efficient card for once too thou I doubt it.
Hey
So I'm looking for a new graphic card but can not decide.
I was first thinking about the asus hd 7970 OC that has 3 mini displayports but as it has issues with the heat of the vrm's that didnt feel right.
Hd version 6xxx eyefinity issues that I do not know if they were solved or...
Yeah that's my dream right now.
I want 120Hz screen that is preferably 30" at 16:10.
27" would be interesting too but at 16:10. A 27" 16:9 is nearly like a 24" 16:10.
16:9 is fine for movies but this one is for work and games.
I want IPS panel so the colors are good. The calibration should...
