Galaxy nexus used is great. The phone is not as large as the screen dimension makes it seem as the onscreen buttons take the place of capacitive buttons. It will fit in your pocket fine. The bezels are tiny on it. Don't bother with the atrix or bionic. The screens on those are horrendous. They...
Look up the power consumption of an IPS panel vs a VA panel. With the same backlight in both the VA would be much brighter. They use brighter backlights in IPS panels to compensate for the low transmittance rate.
This could not be further from the truth. IPS panels have the lowest transmittance rate of the three types which is why they need a brighter backlight to produce the same screen brightness. This is why the dimmer u2410 used twice as much power as the 2408wfp. Its also why ips panels generally...
No offense dude but you're asking too much for this. A 3770k is cheaper than this and much faster and cooler. Heck even a sandy bridge eee is way cheaper.
Not compared to the galaxy nexus, droid razr, or many other phones. Heck the droid razr maxx is only 50. The iphone 4 is so outdated and the gpu struggles with the os. Its aN sgx535 which is like 3 times slower than the gpu in the original galaxy s. (2010)
I would not sign up for a two year...
Cases that are that thick don't help anymore than a thinner one. Its all about shock resistance that makes the difference. If the material has a slight squishy soft key to it, it help a ton.
The case I have doesn't make it feel thick. It feels really good and protects the phone well. Its soft touch. I have the vzw with the extended battery so its heavier than the gsm version with the regular battery. I recommend getting the extended battery doesn't make the phone ticket or ugly...
Buy a case. You really should have one anyway. Its makes a huge difference in both protecting from falls and protecting the screen as well. You don't need an otter box.
I have this one and its very nice feels good, and works with both the gsm And vzw extended batteries...
The build quality pretty much always sucks, the battery sucks and the software buildsareeven worse. In short don't buy one. Find a decent used android phone. Nexus s is a good ones that's pretty cheap that runs jellybean quite well.
Nokia should have said no exclusives and released this on all four carriers. They need to get their brand back out their and going on one carrier isn't going to cut it. Motorola needs to do the same with their razr series especially the maxx.
Pretty much this. Its not even about whether they actually win in the end. Apple knew the legal system is so slow that the product they are suing over will be old history by the time their patent case is overturned or thrown out.
You must have something wrong with your setup on the nexus. You may be undervolting too much. My nexus literally drains nothing when idle and I have the verizon version as well.
I guess its because I use my computer for more than just gaming. The benifits of an ssd in other tasks is gigantic. I have my steam folder on my hard disk. So I do agree that for most games it doesn't make much difference. But for other applications and installing programs the difference is huge.
Drive the new escape, or the new grand cherokee with the 8 speed auto. You probably upgraded from an old 4 speed auto or 5 speed. There are far better transmissions than cvt's. The rogue gets 22 city 26 highway. Compare this to the ford escape (6 speed auto) which gets 23 city 33 highway with...
As if the horrid CVT transmissions wasn't already enough reason to avoid them. Those thing are horrible and don't even get better mpg than a 6/5 speed auto let alone an 8 speed.
Then they can wait for the razr hd or hd maxx. Many people aren't bothered by pentile so keep that in mind. I do like my galaxy nexus's screen a lot. I know its higher resolution but my last phone was a droid incredible with the amoled screen and I had no complaints about it.
The razr m is pretty much the exact same size as the iphone 5. The screen is 4.3 but its effectively 4 inches because it uses on screen buttons. It has extremely good battery life according to reviews as well.
Yuck, the steering feedback on electric power steering is already terrible. Adding in literally no connection to the tires and there will be literally no feedback at all.
There is a benefit of using liquid fuels over batteries and electricity and thats the avoidance of having to use batteries that cost thousands of dollars and cannot be charged instantly like you can fill a gas tank.
Bring back 1920X1200 already for VA panels, and for laptops. I want to be able to buy a 16x10 17 inch laptop when I finally replace my dv7 in a few years.
8gb will be more than enough for the very long future. Mostly because of the 3-4gb limit for memory use on 32bit processes. Thats a barrier than most programs have not tackled yet especially games. Also the increased mobilization of hardware has force developers to streamline their applications...
