just finished the comp and installed XP on it, no overclocking here and everything is on stock voltage.
seems pretty stable after installing all the necessary software (ms office/zone alarm/steam/powertoys + major drivers along with SP3) and a bunch of random programs needed...
@ tiraides : eh, I had it lying around after I pulled it from a comp my friend had when we upgraded his GPU, its been sitting ever since, so why the hell not, might as well use it :)

same thing happened to me when I placed it on rubber bands to reduce noise.
the hard drive is crashed, its tryin to boot up the OS files but it cant
so just replace the HDD and you're all set

what power supply would you reccomend? I need the one with the "extended" mobo connector, I bought a 500w one but the mobo connector was 4 prongs short.

got it used off ebay, but seller stated that it was tested and working
the mobo did come with a speaker and it doesnt beep, it just powers all the fans, turns on the peripherals (mouse + keyboard) but no monitor

built an asus a8n-la with an athlon x2 4200+ chip
put everything together but it just wouldnt respond with the monitor.
i did everything
reset the bios and cmos jumpers
tried booting up with a diff lower end vid card...nothing
tried plugging it in on the onboard vid...
these are just model numbers for the kingston RAM.
