You are missing the fact that a lot of WD models(desktop class) are not compatible or have serious issues with a wide variety of controllers.

Well low sens players are lifting the mouse. High sens players really have no reason to lift it. I'm using a mx518 on a Sx and with high sens I rarely lift the mouse and then its just to pull the cord back.
