alltel charged for tethering as well, but I have "hacked" my blackberry to just tether without going through the companies. Something must have changed during the switch though because I can not dial in.

I am not completely sure this is the reason but it seems I can no longer tether my blackberry to my laptop. I tried both usernames for verizon and for alltel to no avail. Anyone else having any issues?

For some reason everytime I try using my Motorola HT820 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones with valve games sound will not be outputted during gameplay.. That's right just during gameplay! menus work fine.. just not in game sound... and this goes for ALL HL2 engine games. Anyone else have this...

re ran crysis benchmark tool and got Avg FPS up to 65 by going back to stock!

Plugged it into CRT.. still rates a 6.0! Go into CCC set Overdrive back to defaults, then turn fan back up... 7.1! Apparently the CCC Overdrive tool isn't quite stable yet.

Maybe I will have to go back to normal monitor, but I just noticed that my windows experience went from a 7.1 for graphics on my CRT to a 6.0 through HDMI... Gonna plug it back into CRT and see if it takes...

this beta 9.10 driver seems to be missing a lot of features. I hope they get put back in for final release

Crysis still hitches when you put it on Maximum, but I haven't tried Warhead yet. Benchmark at 1280x720 with maximum settings give an AVG FPS of 59. Want to try in DX9 mode next.

just for kicks does anyone know how to get the HDMI to scale and fit screen with the 5870? It seems they took that out of this CCC.

Okay I'm at home just quick used CCC to max OC to 900 core 1300 memory with 65% fan, let you know when crysis finishes installing

I don't know how you can stand 100% fan... my 5870 is at 65% and is incredibly loud!

but isn't it hard on the fan, I can't imagine it does anything for extending its life time...

I took advantage of the Dark Sector deal on steam, but for some reason it is extremely jittery. It's weird because it doesnt seem like normal lag, just gets choppy sometimes. It has little to no graphical options. I think my computer should be good enough to run it as I can play everything else...

I started with SoC, but Clear Sky has a lot of cool features. Clear Sky looks a lot better and ran a little better for me plus I really like faction wars. SoC loved to crash, but mine was heavily modded.

Personally I am a big VLC fan, but IT DOESNT PLAY BLU RAY/ HD DVD!! I have been looking at Total Media Theater.... seems kind of expensive, but if it works then it would be worth it. I can't do Power DVD 8 because it doesn't support HD DVD, and its not like I can take my HD DVD's and sell them...
