That is an excellent question, I think the pricing has a lot of "it's only so much" designed into it to justify maintaining a subscription for whenever you feel like using it. We just bought an LG OLED C9 and I'm loving all the 4K Dolby Vision movies. :O

I have a feeling that the resources allocated to this game post launch are already stretched thin putting out the fires that they released the game with. If they were this witty and fun loving they wouldn't have released the game in it's current state.

They can be had for under 2K for at least a good two years now. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for what Micro LED will bring to the table, but as some stated above I don't foresee mass production of consumer available TVs anytime soon. I would love to be wrong, but these things are slow to develop...
