Care to elaborate on how those three devices don't cater to professionals and what basic functions they're missing? Genuine question, because I know people that use 2 of the 3 for professional needs and they fit perfectly. (Don't know anyone that purchased a Mac Pro)... so I'm curious what you...
I think you drew it out of context a bit. We're just talking about the innovation part, which we all like to say about Apple "innovating" and "inventing" products. I don't recall if the article even says these very things, but it's just a given any time you see Apple try to patent something...
So, someone pointed out to me that Quantum Dot tech is NOT new and Samsung just bought a company that makes the coating. Yes, it's just a coating. Yes, Samsung is just using LED LCD panels with these nano crystals on them. I feel like the OP and several on this thread are misinformed and...
I've known about this for years... and they're first getting in trouble now? I don't remember who warned me about connecting my Vizio to the internet or where I read more about it, but I didn't care enough because I needed a way to bring up Netflix and Prime Video for my daughter. We don't...
Your Bravia is just an edge-lit LCD, not QLED. Completely different technologies here.
Also, feel free to correct me, but I'm not aware of any other device / TV using QLED tech. So I'm uncertain what all of these TVs are that you're talking about that use it. I searched Google from 2010 to...
I actually came on here to say this very same thing. Netflix lets you download content for offline viewing on your mobile devices already, so why go the illegal and stupid route?
[H] sure loves Android and hates anything Apple... it's pretty clear in every single news post about Apple...
I am willing to bet the glass was already damaged and it spontaneously cracked.... but I could be wrong. I remember watching a Jerry Rig scratch test video, where the V20's camera glass cracked shortly after he scratched it. Check out the below video:
This is exactly why when I announced to my friends on Facebook that I bought a house (3-1/2 years ago), by showing a picture of my key and my house in the background, I did NOT show the cut end. I knew it would be way too easy to replicate that key just from a photo. Common sense fail on TSA's...
I currently have thirteen (13) 2GB DDR3 1333MHz (10600) SODIMMs for sale; buy as many as you'd like. I recently pulled these from various newer (brand new and up to a year and a half old) working laptops. They are all Samsung modules and have: 2GB 1Rx8 PC3-10600-09-11-B2 written on them. I...
I honestly saw nothing worth buying. I only saw artificially inflated prices, if anything. I was looking forward to some stuff being on a nice sale, but unfortunately the regular price or sale price the weeks before Thanksgiving was faaaar better!
This just goes to show you that companies...
A 660 would be simply badass! It would help out my gaming performance, period. I have always loved ASUS products, from motherboards, to video cards, to tablets. The cooling solution on this thing looks fantastic!
I enjoyed my Diablo 2 Collectors Edition and will likely plunge for the Diablo 3 CE as well. It's a few bucks more than I want to spend, but eh...
BTW, Blizzard already announced this and "unboxed" it back in October. This news item is not news at all...
HO LY SHIT! I don't know how many times I went through that configuration, and I NEVER saw the Intel manager... I do know that the screens only flash up on my monitor and don't stay for more than half a second, which is why I likely didn't notice it. I was able to successfully install Windows...
I will definitely check this out in a bit. I'm not sure how this computer was initially set up on ports 8 and 9, but it was... It's kind of frustrating to be honest. I'll give that guide a shot! Thanks!
The drives are plugged into the same two ports where it was working. Unfortunately I believe these are the only two ports on the board that the RAID controller can handle.
Yeah, Vista Ultimate 64-bit. It is the same OS that was on there before, but I think 32-bit was installed previously for some unknown reason... but I'm not 100%. Regardless, the partition information and any data on the drives have been wiped 100% clean.
I'm trying to reformat my brother's computer, but I'm having issues setting up his RAID config. I've spent waaaay too long in the last 24 hours trying to get this thing going.
Board: EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1
Drives: 2x 1TB WD1001FALS
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate
The HDD's are plugged into...
I would definitely use this exact PSU in my next build due to ratings and the fact that it is modular! I'm tired of the extra wires in my case! This is the perfect solution for that and its build quality!
A little bump for you...
Just a heads up, you can buy this card brand new for $300 AR at either Amazon or Newegg.

Are you serious? It's their first launch... give me a freakin' break! I'm glad that AT&T is launching their 4G network... and it's about time! I don't give a shit if I'm not in one of the very first cities either....
