When I connect this monitor to the base is it supposed to be slightly angle (like seen in the pics above) or is it suppose to be straight?
I thought I just connected it to the base wrong.
I gotta say this monitor is great for the price.
A lil backlight bleed in the bottom middle, but...
Hey all,
I am looking for a new gaming monitor at 23" or 24".
I was looking to spend from 150 - 250 for this new monitor.
I am really looking for the best bang for the buck, but a good monitor (no cheapo ones).
I have been looking at either Asus or Samsung monitors lately.
Thanks guys.
What are you talking about?
The deal is more now.
The deal used to be an XBOX 360 + Halo 3 + 50" 720p DLP TV for $1089.99
Now the deal is for an XBOX 360 + 50" 720p DLP TV for $1199.99
You are now paying more for less.
I tried that twice.
First time I went to the TV Section and got a supervisor from there.
He would not price match it but said instead of $1500 the lowest he could go is $1300.
Second time I went to another CC and went to Customer Service.
I said would they price match a price from the...
You are correct.
However, the 64U has more than just a slimmer design.
It also has a higher contast ratio, faster response time, deeper black levels and NO banding issue.
So overall it is better than the D92s.
Plus you will not notice any difference currently between 120HZ and 60HZ.
The 64U...
If you would do that that would be great.
I would greatly appreciate it.
I tried what you did as well and unfort. I was being helped by the supervisor of the TV section.
He gave me some BS on how that is lower than he gets it wholesale, but if I knew someone who got it for that from CC he...
Nice price.
But if you can hold out till Dec. of this year than you might want to wait.
The prices of the 37", 42" and 46" are suppose to drop since companies will be making more of them.
Whats funny is that your comparing a low end HDTV to a high end HDTV.
The top 3 brands are:
1. Sony
2. Sharp
3. Samsung
The lower end brands are:
1. Viewsonic (worst prob)
2. Westinghouse
3. Vizio
Hey guys,
I am currently looking around for an LCD HDTV.
My budget is $1000.
I was looking around and I know the Aquous and Samsung TVs are great.
How about other brands?
Maybe I can help.
I put together a nice big guide on building new computers (like what components are best as well as basics)

Take a look at the buyers guide sections that will help.
Hey guys,
I am currently looking for an LCD TV.
Here is what I am looking for:
1. LCD TV 32" - 47"
2. HDTV (720p or 1080p)
3. Under $1,000
Please note that I am not going to use this for a computer screen (so please do not suggest the Westy's). These are built for computer monitors...
I was actually skeptical of this cooler when I got it, but it works very good.
This heatsink is just below a Scythe Ninja.
Plus, this is the easiest heatsink I have ever installed (it is slightly harder for Intel systems).
Well worth the money esp. if you have a fan in your side window and...
Take a look at this thread under the LCD section http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=30822
You are correct in that all 22" use TN panels.
I would say go with either the NEC or the 24" Dell since they are both better build quality.
Remember, you get what you pay for with LCDs.
Ok so I was looking around for new games to play (mostly single player).
Yesterday I got PREY ($20), Beyond Good and Evil($12) and SIN:Episode 1($8) all for under $40.
I was looking at these games as well since they are all under $10 which rocks
1. The Godfather
2. The Suffering: Ties...
These are D9 like people have previously said.
But I def. wouldnt go by Ramlist.
That thing is not kept up to date at all.
I know that Crucial creates their own Micron chips :)
Dammit.
When is Fry's going to come to the east coast.
With CompUSA leaving us, we only have Microcenter now.
And they suck.
They never have any good sales and on top of that they never have anything in the store when I go.
They are such a waste.
Sorry Retsam, but I believe you are in correct.
First off why would you believe any newegg reviewers.
Half of them have no idea what they are talking about and they rate themselves as having high experience with computers.
Second off, have you called Buffalo?
Buffalo is one of the only...
Doh your probably right.
Anyways does anyone know where to find something like that or like this ( http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15600&catalogId=10103&storeId=12&productId=61196&langId=-1&categoryId=16148&chosenPartNumber=10086668 )
That is a good card, but you might want to try this (as it has similar performance) and is cheaper.
X1950XT
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102067
Also, please a little bit more than the 7950GT you could get an 8800GTS 320mb version which will def. beat both cards...
There was a good one not too long ago with the TForce 550 mobo and the X2 3600+ brisbane for about $135 ($125 AR).
Well worth it and I had to jump on it.
That fan looks really nice.
I happen to have the black version of that case.
I am going to have part of the fan hanging out, but no more than the DVD and CD Drive, so the door can close.
This would be easier if Scythe made an 80mm fan version of the Kama Bay
Yep that is correct.
I figure I would put 2 80mm Blue LEDs fans (to match my other fans) in there and tie the back edges of the fan (via twisty ties) to the case and to each other.
I would then put 2 fan grills on them
I know I could just cut a hole in the plastic pieces, but by doing that...
Ok so I figured I would do an easy mod for my second mod (the first one was create my own decal for my window in my case).
So I was thinking and I figured it would be kewl if I could add 2 80mm fans to the front of my case.
I currently have the NZXT Nemesis Elite Case (...
So i am looking for small way to improve cooling in my NZXT Nemesis Elite Case
Right now I have 3 120mm fans.
These fans locations are:
1 in front bottom (right in front of HD Cage)
1 in side window panel, blowing on GPU and CPU
1 in back as an exhaust
I also have the Apack Zerotherm...
The 2 x 512 DDR2-800 kit of Firestix have been $94 dollars for a while and they have been sold out for a long time (at least 1-2 weeks).
However, if you think about it $94 isnt that great of a deal since you could get double the memory for roughly $70 more (the 2 x 1GB kit is now $160) -...
I didnt sign up, but got it in my email.
They will def. drop it in on May 28th and not any sooner.
Its always nice to get free shipping as well with their $10 free shipping promo as well :)
Thanks for the code.
Worked like a charm and saved $9.
Now its time to OC the hell outta my X2 3600+ Brisbane
