Right now i just have 1 3.5mm cord going from receiver to the computer because i lost the one it came with that had all 3, so my sub/center and rear isn't connected. I'm just using 2 speakers right now anyway and i don't notice the sub any quieter with it not being hooked up.
So my question is...
So i guess i'm being convinced.. i thought there wasn't much difference between i3/i5 but if its as much as yall say im going for it. any price drops coming within the next month?

Wanting to spend as little as possible, a new cpu for my mobo would not be much of a performance increase would it? The most demanding game i play is battlefield and i'd like to get min 60 fps. If there is a really could used cpu i could buy that is a good value that would be the best, the e8400...
Windows 7 32 bit can use 4 gb right? I messaged the guy wanting to sell me the ram i linked earlier and he said if i change voltage/timings i should be set. this correct?
5770 Sapphire and X2 5600+ 1080p reso, my gpu load is a whole lot less than my cpu's, and i was wondering if it will actually hurt my performance if i enable AA. I've heard not to trust the benchmark tool.
its pretty obvious no one here has played bad company 2. nothing really looks different though i think the rounds have less drop which is very, very good.
So what does this mean for me? Are you saying there is absolutely no way of knowing if it will work with my board until i try it? Fuck everything about that..
wanting to go with the 9750 but it isnt that big of an upgrade from my 5600. i was just wanting to give my baby a little boost of speed...
registration is closed, doesnt look like the busiest board either :p
can you tell me that again in retard terms? not full retard of course but i dont understand what you mean by 1st release, or what the 955 is.
my motherboard is in my signature. it doesnt officially say it supports it, just phenom I, but a couple people in this thread say it might work. that's cool if it doesnt i just need to know one way or another.
does anybody have a solid answer?
just got a reply to my craigslist ad
"I bought a amd x4 940 amd2+ quad 3.0 125w for $109, make me an offer, won’t fit my mobo I have a am3."
will this or will it not work with my motherboard? and what kind of offer should i make?
Great news, thanks. Can anyone else verify this? On the subject, i should definitely get phenom2 over athlon2 correct? i got the impression from benchmarks that the l3 cache wasnt worth it in gaming.
Yeah i'm not wanting to either.. hope to find something on craigslist if i can't get phenom II...
Not wanting to spend much, but as long as it isnt one of the slower Phenom I X4's i am definitely interested. Also if you have a newer motherboard with a quad core included ill also consider that.
I'm going to need a little more than an off chance if im spending $115 on something. I'm not even really sure if this motherboard is stable enough to oc at all, i've tried it before and it ends up screwing my whole machine over, but that could just be my current processor.
all my info is in my...
