Does nits really matter? Do most people play in the middle of the day with the blinds wide open or do most gamers play late at night while family is asleep or early morning before work?
MyAOC CU34G3S 34" Frameless Curved Ultrawide Gaming Monitor has been making a high pitched noise (very faint but it's there) and I've finally narrowed it down to what's causing it.
And it's the Firefox web browser.
When I maximize Firefox there is a high pitched soft noise coming from the back...
I went to Best Buy over the weekend and spent a lot of time looking at TVs, especially 75-77" TVs, and a lot of them seemed to be in the $1,800 price range. Not sure why Sony X93L justifies $1,000 + price difference.
I'm still totally confused about this Samsung and the Sony X93L. Remember how back in the day you only had plasma and before that CRT? Now it seems like there's half a dozen different display tech options and every year they keep introducing new display tech. And from the research I've done...
I found two of the other cables, they were in the PSU box.
People are saying this card uses a lot of watts but when I play games maxed out on my 34" 1440P monitor the power consumption never goes over 300 watts, it's mostly at like 278 watts. It idles at 45c and when gaming goes up to 81c. And...
They don't even have photos of the back of the TV. Is the stand even adjustable or do you have to spend another $150 on a stand so that when you're sitting on the couch your eyes go to the middle of the screen
Two quick questions:
How does this TV compare to Sony 85 Inch Mini LED 4K Ultra HD TV X93L Series? Everything I read over at AVS says that it's a better TV.
Not really a question, but more of a tip: When buying a large TV save some money to buy a larger (longer) TV console. Nothing looks more...
Do you think if I got these two cables it should work?

OK I think I mistyped it.
The cables going into the GPU are in fact 8 pins. 4 on top, 4 on bottom, and there's two of those cables (16 pins total)
I'm just wondering if I can use the Y cable or if I need two separate cables. I'm wondering if the amount of juice the GPU is getting varies if...
I just purchased a AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, it didn't come with any PSU cables. I have a Corsair RMX RM 1000x PSU and hooked up the PSU cable to the GPU. But it's a Y- cable. One end goes in the PSU and the other end has TWO 4 pin cables on it which I plugged into the GPU. But now I'm...
I want to play my PC games on my HDTV. What's the longest USB extension cord I can get away with (running from my PC to the x-box controller) and not have any lag input? I know with monitors the HDMI/DVI cables need to be 12 feet or less, is that the same case for gaming controllers?
Why is my desktop monitor making a high pitched noise all of a sudden? I know it's the monitor because I've narrowed it down by turning on and off all of my electronic equipment on my desk.
In how many years do you think we will see 8k movies?
I'm asking because right now I have a 42" Panasonic 1080p TV and it's like 12 years old. Nothing wrong with it, besides the size, I love the black colors. Anyways, after doing some research I'm going to get the Sony X93L, either in 75" or...
I just bought this game and it won't download. I'm using the GOG Galaxy downloader and it's stuck at 2% (not even sure if it even downloaded 2% or if that's what it starts at).
I tried the GOG website but it says my code was already used (since I tried the GOG Galaxy).
"The Apple Vision Pro goes on sale in the US on February 2 for $3,499"
When I heard them say on the news that it was going to cost "34 99" I seriously thought they meant $34.99
1) Why do damn expensive?
2) WTF would the newscaster say "34 99" instead of three thousand four hundred and ninety...
Remember the infamous AV123 Onix speakers from twenty years ago?
Remember Mark Schifter?
If you've got these speakers in your basement or garage and not using them I am interested in purchasing them.
I would. I have bought over a dozen items from AliExpress for my 1/6 RC Suzuki Samurai without any issues. The only drawback is that it takes like 4 weeks for you to receive your item. AliExpress is like the Chinese Ebay. If they were scamming people they would have gone out of business...
I bought this DisplayPort Cable (1.4) but in 6.6 ft because I read that the shorter the cable the better.

But it's barely long enough and I am redoing my PC setup and would like to place my PC even...
Damn, that is one WIDE boy!
Do most games even support that resolution or do you have to spend hours trying to manually configure the resolution? Don't get me wrong, it's a nice monitor for productivity but as far as gaming......
