With all due respect, I do own a dell 2405. It is a great monitor but from what I have read these two models are superior. I am trying to get some feedback. Also, I believe there is no much information on these units because they are NEW not because "no one is buying them".

I would go for the xfx. They have an overclocked model at 490 and a double lifetime warrenty.

I have never owed an IBM so I cannot say anythigng about it. Based on everyone's feedback and reviews, it is really great. However, I am not sure if it is worth the price difference. If money is of no concern then go with ibm. But, to get the most bang for your buck, I would go dell.

I am going to call and find out about the warrenty if you change ram. If the warrenty is still in tact, I can go to 256 ram which would drop my price by an astonding $450. Therefore, I would get the same system but only 256 ram for $1558. What do you guys think of that deal?

thank you bk but I think you misunderstand my comment. I have heard that only 1 dim slot can be accessed by the end user. If this is true, I would assume that the 256k ram they put in would be in this "unacessable" area (leaving me only 1 blank sim slot to install new ram). Am I mistaken...
