Post your "rate my cables" here

Super clean, good look. You don't see a lot of blue builds, seemingly. I'm a huge proponent of the 'pick a color and go with it' type thing. :)
Thanks. I’m the same way. Finally got MSI Center to recognize the card so those lights now correlate with the build.

Just did a rebuild of my son's PC in a Jonsbo U4 'mini'. Mini my ass, this thing is huge! I originally built his rig in a Silverstone FT03 but thermals were terrible.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 7600
Asus TUF Gaming B650M-E WIFI
32GB Ram @ 6000MT/s
ASUS Radeon RX 9070 XT PRIME OC
Seasonic (Prime?) 850W PSU
A bunch of Phanteks M25 fans, reverse blade for the bottom 3.
Thermalright Peerless assassin 120.

I did a mild overclock for him;
PBO enabled
PBO Offset override +200
Curve -30
PPT 105W to keep noise levels down whenever possible. At 140W it all core boosts to 5.3Ghz, at 105W it jumps between 4.9-5.3 depending on the load.

It's time to play Spot the Difference!

This is my office PC. Pretty much the same deal as my son's PC; it was originally built in an FT03 but thermals were real bad. I picked up two of these cases on special.
Specs:
7800X3D
Gigabyte B850M Gaming X Wifi6e
32GB Ram at 6000MT/s
Geforce 1080Ti
Inwin 750W PSU
Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black

Welp.. I left my Torrent. For pretty much the same reasons that I left my Torrent Compact.. so now back in my PA602. My boys can run the Torrents, one black one white and both have high end AM4 systems so they will be ok for a bit.

I did put the battery back in.. whoops.
Why did you leave the Torrent? I had one a while back and didn't care much for it either.

I tried a few fan combos and was not content with how it performed.. it should have been better. Also stringing a bunch of cables in the back while trying to make it look decent is a pita. The bleed through from the light bar on the white one is pretty shitty. I stripped a PCI thread the first time I ran a thumb screw through it. I also stripped the threads on the bottom fan mount when I turned the thumb screws the first time. The glass should have had a little more tint to it, the lights literally light up my basement lol. Could probably have a stroke if the pattern hits you just right lol. And finally.. the gamer look. I have grown to like the simplicity of the Asus. Its build quality is far ahead of the Fractal.

Besides me going to the NZXT RGB case I agree with you. The ProArt is a nice looking functional case. I still use the black version with my back up PC, and when I get sick of the RGB I will probably go back to the wood version again..lol

Switched back to the Asus 602A case and got a great deal on an MSI Godlike X870E motherboard so I swapped that in as well.

Looks good man! What kind of display is that? Part of the mobo?

Mine is sitting behind my couch waiting for me to tire of my Torrent. Not gonna lie, my setup is pretty decent like this.

Yes that’s part of the motherboard. Pretty sweet tbh. Only thing is the Case cable cover won't fit over the cables as the one connector is is in the way. Wasn't designed for this motherboard of course.

Sharing two of my newly completed builds.

First, my gaming PC which was kind of a Ship of Theseus type project over the last few months hunting for deals:

14600kf / 9070xt / B760M PRO RS / 32GB DDR5 6000mhz / 1tb NVMe / 750w / Jonsbo D32 STD / Win11 Pro

And second, I spent some time refurbishing my first custom build from way back in 2007 in a new(ish) case with full teardown and re-pad/paste of GPU's, new fans, new PSU:

Q6600 / 2x 8800GTS 640mb SLI / 680i nForce SLI / 8GB DDR2 1066mhz / 1Tb SATA SSD / 700w / Fractal Design Focus G / Win7 Pro x64

What do you use the Q6600 system for? Or do you just keep it around for nostalgia?
